if the sun and moon,
wrote a book for you,
they'd carve each page,
in their rays of magic and bliss,
and cement each letter,
with a small kiss goodnight,
and a flutter of your lids.

if they wrote
a book for you,
they'd say you were caring and kind
a goddess among the moaning mortals,
far too beautiful to even be living
and breathing,
this toxic air.

they'd say you had all the qualities,
one could ever begin to love,
the fiery and explosive passion of the stunning sun,
with the poise and grace of the marvelous moon.

they'd say you were made,
to live among the stars,
and stroll along the milky way,
soaking up her intoxicating perfumes,
a fallen angel,
too graceful and sweet,
to meet such a young defeat.

they'd give me a wish to make you mine,
amd say you were the one missing piece,
to my very own heaven and heart,
and that without you,
i'm the sun without the moon.
