Preeta left the cafe and was driving back home when an old lady came in front. She stopped the car with a jerk.

Preeta(shocked) : Shit..

She came out.

Preeta(concerned) : Aunty... Aap thik toh h na..

Old lady looked at her. Preeta sighed seeing her fine.

Lady: Haan beta.. Tu mera ek kaam kregi..

Preeta: Jii boliye..

Lady: Woh saamne mera ghar h.. Mere bete Aman ko yeh dedegi..

Preeta(confused) : Aunty.. Par main..

Lady gave her an envelope.

Lady: Please beta..

Preeta nodded seeing her urge and went to the house. She rang the door bell. A middle aged man opened the door.

Preeta: Aman?

Aman: Jii.. Aap kon?

Preeta: Aapki mom ne yeh dene ko kaha h..

Aman looked at her weirdly and took the envelope.

Aman(smilingly) : Acha mazak krti h aap..

Preeta: Excuse me..

Aman: Meri mom ek saal pehle hi..

Preeta looked at him shocked.

Aman(smiling in tears):Par aap ne unki yaad...thank you.. I'll keep it..

Preeta turned and looked at the old lady. She was smiling at her. Preeta moved towards the lady. Aman closed the door.

Preeta(shocked) : Aunty.. Aap ek..

Old lady: Thank u so much beta.. Aaj teri wajah se mujhe mera sukoon milgya..

Preeta: Aap.. Ek bhoot..

Old lady nodded. She started disappearing.

Preeta(shocked) : Yeh aap..

Old lady: Main roshni mein jaa rhi hu beta... Tune meri adhoori icha puri krdi.. Marrne se pehle main mere bete ko uska sapna dena chahti thi..

Preeta: Toh ab gayaab hojayegi?

Old lady: Ha.. You are blessed my child.. Kya tumhe aaj..

Preeta(scared) : Mere ghar mein bhi ek soul h..

Old lady looked at her smilingly.

Preeta: I don't want him to leave me..

Old lady(smilingly) : He has already left my child.. Let him find his light..

Preeta(in tears): But I don't want him to go...

Old lady(smiling) : If u love him, u will do the best for him.. Thank u my child for freeing me..

Old lady disappeared. Tears rolled down her cheeks seeing the lady disappear.

Preeta sat in car and drove back home hurriedly. She went inside and ran upstairs.

Karan(hearing door opening) : Babydoll aa gyi..

Preeta hugged her pillow and started crying.

Preeta(smiling in tears): I love Karan..

Tears were rolling down her cheeks.

Old lady: If u love him then u will do the best for him..

The old lady disappeared.

Preeta(in tears) : Nhi.. Karan.. Nhi jayega.. Main use mujhe chodke nhi jaane dungi... Woh yahi rhega mere saath...

Karan opened the door of her room and saw her crying on bed.

Karan(concerned) : Babydoll..

Preeta looked at him in tears. He sat besides her and cupped her face.

Karan(concerned) : Kya hua tumhe.. Ro kyu rhi ho...

Preeta hugged him crying.

Karan: Babydoll..

Preeta(in tears) : Karan.. Main..

Karan: Pehle rona band kro..

He made her face him and wiped her tears.

Karan: Kya hua h...

Preeta: Maine aaj ek aur soul..

Karan(cupping her face): Babydoll.. U can see ghosts.. U re blessed.. Darro mt..

Preeta(in tears) : Mom dad ke jaane ke baad main depression mein.. Mujhe hospital mein band rkhte the.. Phir uncle ne mujhe smbhala.. Aur mujhe kaha kii main apni life ki shuruat iss naye sheher se.. Main marri kyu nhi Karan.. Uncle ne mujhe bataya tha.. Main marr gyi thi.. Phir achanak se.. I just started responding.. Doctors bhi.. Main marr hi jati toh..

Karan: Chup.. Khabardar.. Babydoll.. Life is precious...Kadr karo apni zindagi kii.. Aur shayad u saw the light after death.. Isliye tum... You are blessed with this babydoll.. Tumhe yeh accept.. Smjh gyi..

Preeta nodded in tears. Karan kissed her forehead.

Karan(smilingly) : Ek aur aanso nhi tapakna chahiye.. Rou mt babydoll..

Old lady :If you love him, you will do the best for him..

Preeta (in tears) : Karan.. Tum.. Tumhara sukoon kya h..Tum kyu iss ghar se...

Karan's smile faded. Memories were flashing in front of his eyes.

Karan(sad) : Kiara...

Preeta(in tears) : Main tumhe tumhara sukoon..

Karan(shocked) : Yeh tum..

Preeta told him everything about the lady and how Preeta freed her.

Karan(smiling bitterly) : Tumhe acha laga.. Unhe sukoon deke..

Preeta nodded in tears.

Preeta(in tears) : Main tumhe..

Karan(sad): But I am not ready to leave u babydoll.. Main tumse juda nhi hona chahta..

Preeta hugged him.

Preeta(crying) : I don't want u to leave me.. I love u Karan.. I love u..

Karan(smiling bitterly) : I love you too babydoll..

Preeta(crying): Be with me forever..

Karan: I can't babydoll.. Our love is not meant to be... I can never be with u forever..

Preeta broke the hug and looked at him in tears.

Karan(kissing her forehead) : But I love you forever..

Preeta(in tears) : I want you in my destiny...

Karan(smiling bitterly) : Its beyond Destiny babydoll...

Preeta joined her forehead with his crying. Karan smiled bitterly unable to shed tears too.
