Preeta's phone started ringing. She was still sleeping. Karan looked at the screen to see Maya calling.

Preeta went to get ready without realising what she said, could hurt someone. Karan was sitting on stairs waiting for her to come down.
Preeta came down getting ready hurriedly and went towards the door. Karan stood up and looked at her going.

Preeta was going. Karan looked at her. She turned. He smiled. She hugged him. He kissed her forehead.

He was hoping for her to turn as always but she didn't. She went out without even saying a bye. Karan's smile disappeared as the door closed. He went down the basement and stared her picture blankly.
Maya's car stopped in front of Preeta. She came out.
Preeta: Ha bol Maya... Main nhi chahti thi Karan sunle.. Main use koi jhoothi umeed nhi dena chahti.. Bol.. Kiara... Kya..
