Narrator POV:
After Boruto unties Sarada and carries her out of the hideout, Sarada wakes up and starts heading back to Konoha.
While walking she thinks about what Boruto said to her all those years ago.
Flashback

Boruto and Sarada are sitting under a tree talking about their parents
Sarada: My dad hasn't been home in months, he usually comes 3 times a year but since he hasn't come back my mom has been stressed
Sarada then begins to tear up, Boruto notices and pulls her in for a hug.
Boruto: Hey, Sarada what's wrong
Sarada: it's just that I feel like I have to be strong for me and my mother sometimes because of how stressed she is
Boruto: Don't worry about that Sarada it's not like your dad is dead or anything he probably just has something important to do before he comes home
Sarada:(Wipes her face) Maybe your right, thanks Boruto
Boruto: Hey, that's what friends are for
Sarada: Hey Boruto...
Boruto: yeah?
Sarada: You'll never leave me, right
Boruto:of course, I will always be by your side Sarada because your what's important to me
Sarada: I knew I could count on you Boruto

Sarada: No, he's not gone I will find him and bring him back
