Ray is quiet and shy. She tends go be fearful of loud sounds due to PTSD from the war. She has separation anxiety and doesn't like being alone. At times, she gets very jumpy, startling easily.
Despite her anxieties, she is a very kind and loving person. She loves to explore new things and hanging out with her friends.
Unbeknownst to her friends and mother, she suffers from depression and self-harms when her anxiety is high, but she hides it well.
She also suffers from night terrors and doesn't sleep. She sometimes hallucinates, sitting at the window for hours "waiting for daddy to come home".
Some of her favourite pastime things to do is drawing and being outside. She can spend hours at a time just sitting in the garden and colouring.
