Chapter 11

I need air, I couldn't watch what was going on, I ran past countless comrades, "you okay? What's going on?" They asked as I rushed by; I felt sick. My stomach was in nots, I busted through the doors of the HQ and stood on the grass, falling too my knees, "Luna?" I heard him say behind me the calm I needed in this storm, looking up my grey eyes met his,
"Oh hey Eren," I said, standing up and dusting the dust off my clothes, "I just, I just needed some air" I let out a chuckle, he gave me a half smile taking a step towards me
"What happened?" He asked I broke, tears fell from eyes
"I'm 15, I shouldn't have had to deal with this, it was an idea. A stupid childish idea. I almost killed my dad. You where put in harms way, all because I wanted revenge! I don't know what the fuck I'm doing, I- I shouldn't have been put in charge, I hurt Eren, I've lost everything" I cried out as my weight got the better of me, I was on my knees "he's hurt bad Eren, a- and its all my fault." He crouched beside me and put a hand on my shoulder,
"None of this is on you, the Captain always goes all out when he's in battle, he choose this" he calmly said but it didn't stop the tears that fell, my sobs became louder, I heard the door open again but I couldn't look too see who it was,
"Is she okay?" The women asked,  " move then" she said again, Eren stood up and I was embraced in a hug, I was taken off guard but eventually hugged back, resting my head onto the crook of her neck.
"It'll be okay." She soothed, stroking my hair to calm me down
"How did you know this is what she needed Mika?" Eren asked, I felt Mikasa tighten her grip
"Women always know, it's what I needed after my parents died, but I had your family, she almost lost hers, she's been keeping a lot in." My sobs turned into sniffles, loosing my grip on Mikasa, I looked at the raven haired women in front of me,
"Thank you" I hiccuped, she gave me a nod
"Let get you some food" I nodded as her and Eren helped me up, we walked up the stairs, through the door but I heard the screaming again I gripped onto Erens jacket, "hey he'll be okay, Hanji is mad but she's a great doctor" he calmly said I gave a small smile, we continued walking when we where stopped by bushy eye brows,
"Ah just the person I've been looking for, young Ackerman follow me to my office please" eyebrows said I gave him a nod, letting go of Eren and Mikasa, I followed him to his office.

We walked through the doors and he took a seat at his desk, I just stood at the now closed door, "you can sit" he smiled at me,
"Sir about the mission, I didn't mean for it too go that bad, I messed up, and Captain Levi might die" I rambled, he lifted his hand to shut me up, so I did. "Luna. that's not why I brought you in here" his smile stayed on his face,
"Sir?" I questioned him
He took a deep breath "now you show traits that your father did when he came too us, and I talked to him about this as well," he paused the door opened and Levi and Hanji walked in; well Hanji walked Levi limped,
"Dad?" I stood up and rushed to him, he let go of Hanji and embraced me, "oh thank god you're okay" I cried into his chest,
"It's okay kid, it's gonna take a lot more then that to take me down," he gave a slight chuckle only to wince,
"You okay?" Hanji questioned,
"I'm fine four eyes" he insulted her
"Anyway what I was saying was, Luna, we want to make you a captain. You showed promise and skill today, your plan captured two dangerous titan shifters, and we wouldn't have been able to that if it wasn't for you" eyebrows said
I pushed away from Levi my mouth dropped open.

"Ackerman?" Hanji asked,
" sir I'm 15, I can't do that. " I began to protest but Levi spoke up
"Oi, now listen to me, I was not much older then you, I know you can do it, you have my skill and my attitude. I have full trust in you,"
"Also Captain Levi is in no condition to be leading as of now, you will be put in charge of his squad till he's back in commission," The commander added I looked from the commander to Hanji; who had an excited look on her face. Then to my dad, "I-I still don't know if I can do it, what if your wrong, what if I fail and everyone dies?" I questioned, the door opened and in walked in Armin, Eren, Mikasa, Connie, and Sasha giving off a questionable look,
"Look with Levi out of commission right now they need you, they trust you." I turned towards the Levi squad Mikasa giving me a nod in approvement, "also you're one of the few that can handle me and Jean" Eren laughed nervously,
"well host a banquet to show everyone who managed to bring those criminals in" Eyebrows smiled at me
"If I accept, they answer to me, what about Levi?" I questioned
"Let's make this a practice run, okay kid" Levi answered me I nodded
"Okay then" I confirmed.

Everyone left but Eren, Levi, Hanji, and Eyebrows. I went to leave the room when I felt a hand on my shoulder
"The banquet will be next week, Wear something pretty" Hanji sang,
"I don't own anything pretty, YOU STOLE ME FROM MY HOME REMEMBER!" I shouted causing the room to fill with laughter,
"Kid we have clothes for you, go shower and change, get some food, we'll announce what we talked about next week in front of everyone" Levi somewhat smiled, I walked out the room and towards the mess hall; grabbing a plate of food, the usual bread and broth "woo" I said to my self, I noticed that Mikasa was waiting I walked over to her and set my plate down "Congrats kid" she said as my butt made contact with the seat.
"Thank you, I don't know why you guys trust me, I almost got everyone killed" I questioned her,
"We trust you because you made a right call, you saw that our team needed help, not just Eren, but with Leavi and the rest of them, you entrusted Armin and myself to help you with Riner and Bearthold, while you saved the team that you needed to succeed" she explained, my expression never changed from the resting bitch face, I nodded at her
"THE HELL YOU MEAN WE TAKE ORDERS FROM TINY ACKERMAN!" I heard someone scream, Mikasa and I looked up and saw Jean holding Eren by his neck, "get off me horseface" Eren chocked out, I looked at Mikasa who sighed
"Ill follow but show them they need to knock it off, you are captain now" giving her a nod I quickly stood up and marched my way over to the boys, Mikasa was tailing me, I grabbed Jean from the back of the neck and slammed him to the ground Eren fell and his sister helped him
"Yes Kristine, you fucking answer to me now, so as your captain WHAT THE FUCK WHERE YOU TWO THINKING!" I shouted at them, my gaze shifting from the two men in front of me, Jean let out a low growl and Eren huffed "You have five seconds to answer me or ill knock teeth in!" I commanded,
"I just don't believe they gave the job to you," Jean huffed I let out a sigh and looked at Mikasa, Eren coughed
"They gave me the job because Captain Levi is out of commission at the moment, him, commander Erwin and squad leader Hanji all agreed that I could do it, next to Mikasa my talent matches his..." I was cut off by Jean
"It's because you're his bastered!" He yelled at me, my blood boiled, memories of the underground flooded, I grabbed jeans hair, making his face meet my knee, blood splattered everywhere, he screamed as his noise broke. "I'm no ones bastered, I'm someone's daughter, you prissy snow white sack of horse shit!" I screamed at him "till next week you're on stable duty, bathroom, and yard work, all must be done by the end of the day," I crouched down to his level, grabbing his hair making him look at me "and if I find one speck of dust, shit or weed, you're redoing the whole fucking thing, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!" I ordered
"Ye-yes ma'am" Jean responded I stood up and looked at the rest of the squad
"This goes to the rest of you, until the captain is better, you take orders from me, Erwin and Hanji, DO I make myself clear!!" I screamed at them, they all stood up and saluted me "YES MA'AM!" They answered.

I stormed out of the mess hall only to run right into Hanji and Levi, 'shit' I thought
"You did good kid" Hanji said as she lead Levi to her lab,
"Wait what's going on? Is he okay" I questioned following close behind them, I heard quite groans with every step Levi took,
"he'll be okay, I need to finish setting his bones and stitch up a lot of his wounds, You did great in the mess hall, never let anyone underestimate you." She said as she closed the door in my face, I sighed and went back to my room.
