You: how was your uncle's. It smells like you had fun?
Ray: yeah but I left early to bring in the new year with you.
You: yeah? Well like I said it's only a couple of people back there. Mostly Larry's family.
You hear laughing in the distance
Jeff: Yo. That was the quickest game I ever won.
Y/m and Larry: (walks out on the porch)
Larry: oh. Sorry.
You: (move to the other aide of the porch)
Y/m: hey Ray.
Ray: Hey Ms.Michelle. Escaping the party?
Y/m: you know it. Baby can only take so much noise. (Looks at the boys walking in the distance) Jeff looks happy.
Trevor: (looks at you and Ray)

Larry: yo Jeff. Enjoying yourself?
Jeff: yeah. Just whopped these so called basketball players.
Y/m: (laughs) really?
Cj: We were being nice to company.
They all stand at the porch
Y/m: (laughs) okay cj. (Looks back at Ray) you coming in or...Larry has a game set up to play. There's a cash prize.
You: mom. We'll see you inside

Everyone walks inside.
Trevor: (walks up the stairs and look back at you as he closes the door )

Ray: going inside.
You: you don't wanna go back to your place. (Holding his hands)

Ray: yeah just like you lied about this party not being a party.
You: or just like you lied about going to your uncle's house?
