Standing a few feet away from me and man with a blade in hand, and a mask with a skull over his face stood staring back at me. He was like frank, but it wasn't, i knew he wasnt frank. Yet the resemblance had me frozen their.

"Why arent you running?"
His voice sounded deep and venomous, yet had a hint of Curiousity to it.

Before i could answer he darted towards me and pierced me with his blade, then darted away after. I fell to one knee and tried to keep from screaming, but i couldn't stop myself completely. Blood poured from the deep wound, wincing as i cover it with a bandage that i decided to keep with me.

It was a very smart idea to do so. After i finished i looked around the ominously quiet area. I spotted a generator, so instead of wasting anymore precious time i headed over to it. The pain from the wound still pulsing, i did my best to ignore it as i slowly worked on the gen.

I could hear screams in the distance, then i remember the man who stood in front of me. Who was he? And if he is another one of 'the legion' as we call him, then how many more are there.

I was very confused about it, and the thought never left my head as i finished the gen and moved to another. Right after i finished that one, i heard the sound signifying the exit could be opened, i wasted no time and started running around looking for it.

Instead of finding the exit i saw Feng hanging on a hook crying in pain, i quickly ran over to her and carefully pulled her off. Before i had a chance to bandage her up, she grabbed my hand and ran for what i would presume to be an exit.

Unable to keep up with her panicked speed, i tripped and fell, my hand leaving hers. She looked back at me to make sure i was alright, but her eyes widened as she slowly backed away.

I turned to look behind me to see the killer run past me to her. She turned around and started running. I quickly got to my feet and ran after them, i wasn't sure what i was doing.
I didnt want to get killed, but i couldn't just abandon her like that.

He eventually caught up to her and stabbed his knife into her. she screamed in pain as she fell to the ground.

"S-stop! Please!" I screamed at the man.
He turned towards me and tilted his head, I started breathing heavily, realizing i might have just gotten myself killed.

He slowly walked towards me, knife clenched in hand. I was terrified, but there was no turning back now. He grabbed my chin and made me look at him, fear very noticeable in my wide (e/c) eyes. He reached his hand holding the knife towards my (h/l), (h/c) hair, slowly pulling it through.

"Your a ballsy one, maybe I'll let you live."
He quietly said. The venom that was laced in his voice from before now dissipated into pure amusement and curiosity.

"(Y/n)! Run!" Feng screamed as she hit him in the back with a branch, and he let go of me because of the force of the impact.

He growled in anger and quickly stabbed her, pinning her to the ground. Fear took over my body and i started running away, towards what i hoped was an exit. I heard her scream in agony as she died, i clenched my fists and finally saw the exit.

Before i reached it, i tripped over a large rock.
Hitting the ground harshly.
Before i could get back up myself, the killer pulled me to my feet, wrapping his arms around me so i couldn't run away.

"Your friend gave her life for you." He chuckled,

"ill let you live this time." I was unable to say anything, but it seemed like i didn't need to.

"The names Joey, by the way." He slowly let go of me, and i stumbled backwards away from him.

"I'll see you again (y/n), dont you worry."
He cooed.

I turned around and ran out of the exit as fast as i could,
so many thoughts and questions laced my mind ever since the entity dragged me here. Why me? I sighed in frustration.

As i appeared back in camp,
I saw Feng and instantly ran up to her and hugged her.
She slowly accepted the hug.

"Thank you for saving me."
I whispered to her.

She just hugged me tighter as if it was the last hug she'd ever receive.

"Thank you for not leaving me to die in the first place."
She whispered back.

We sat there quietly hugging for a few more seconds
After i waved bye to her and headed for the border to be alone for a while. I walked the path I've been down many times. I had to many thoughts in my head right now.
When I finally reached the border, I slumped down beside my tree, trying to clear my mind of these thoughts.

It was obvious I was never going to get the answers I wanted.
Eventually, I fell asleep.

Dream

Darkness was all i could see, everywhere i looked, everywhere i ran. I couldn't escape.

"Oh (Y/n), i told you."

"You will never escape me."

The familiar voice echoed through the
darkness.

I knew i couldn't escape from the start.
So why do i try anymore?

I fell to the ground, wrapping my arms around my legs and clenching my eyes closed.

Im so tired of this cold darkness that holds me here, i was stupid in life, but was killing myself really bad enough to end up in this hell?

I never did anything bad enough to end up here...

It was just that one decision...

I was tired of living...
