part nine,

charli's pov:

after a week our vacation was over. i had so much fun with chase i wish it didn't have to end.  we had our flight back to america but i am excited to see everyone especially addy, avani and dixie.

we got home and everything was really quiet.
chase: hello?
nobody answered i called dixie but nothing
charli: this is strange
chase: i know
we went upstairs to put our suit cases away and saw mirrors smashed and doors broken off of hinges.
charli: chase i'm scared
he had hold of my hand tight
chase: your safe with me

chases pov:

i told charli she was safe with me but rn idk what is safe. then suddenly massive loud noice goes off and we hear unrecognised voices i pick up charli and lightly run to a cupboard until i can think of somewhere better to hide. at this point charli is silently crying i hold her close to my chest and hold her like i'm never going to let go.

chase: charli if we make it in to alex and kouvrs room we can get into the attic.
she nods and slowly gets up i place my hand on her waist and follow after her. we are half way down the hall when we see an unknown person so we run. i accidentally hit the wall which makes a massive noise. i can see the guy look up and see the back off me.
unknown: son of a bitch, oi get over here
he shouts to someone else great now we know there's more than one

we make it to kouvr's room and pull down the string and it reveals the stairs up to the attic. charli goes up first i follow and then i pull up the stairs behind me just in time because i here the door open but i can't tell what there saying
charli: chase what are they saying its all muffled.
she whispered
chase: i don't know baba
i kiss her and say something that i've know for a while.
chase: i love you
charli smiles but cries at the same time
charli: i love you too
our foreheads touch and we stay like that for 5 minutes

charli pulls away
charli: im going to try and call dixie again
chase: that's a good idea i can't here the people anymore but idk if you will get any signal
charli try's loads of times but she doesn't pick up
chase: that's it we're calling 911

911: 911, what's your emergency
charli: there are people in my house
911: where are you currently
charli: me and my boyfriend are hiding in the attic
911: right, i've got your location police are on there way, can you see them
charli: no, we can't hear them anymore either

charli's pov:

about 5 minutes later we hear sirens.
