Chapter Eleven-

Lucy's P.O.V

I cannot believe that's the best bet I could suggest. Truth or dare?! That's every boys way of getting in girls' pants and unlocking embarrassing confessions. And here it turned out, I thought the idea up.

And why would he think to actually agree to it!

Maybe I was over exaggerating though; I doubt it'll turn out anything like it does in the movies. I can refuse a dare if I have to, right?

Whatever, I thought, let's just get this over with.

Natsu's P.O.V

I couldn't help but wonder what kind of questions she would be asking. Maybe she secretly deep down digged me. It's not like it'll be a surprise if that were the case after all.

Maybe she's trying to seduce me?

I mean don't get me wrong, Lucy was no epitome of perfection to me, but it wouldn't be hard to see she has quite a look and personality to her; it's something most women I've met lacked. But my wonder began to dissipate as I thought of the questions I could ask her. She was in for a treat.

Let's do this.

I decided that I would first go and ask a question cause I could tell Lucy wouldn't have anything interesting.

"Okay, truth or-"

"Truth!" she immediately screamed without even letting me finish my sentence.

I began to laugh a little as I could tell she wasn't looking forward to being dared by me, making the anticipation all the more exciting.

"Okay Lucy..Uhh, Who was your first boyfriend?" I asked. Might as well, I hadn't thought up a good truth to ask by that point.

Lucy's P.O.V

"Really?" I asked chuckling. "That's the best you could do?"

Natsu rolled his eyes and glared.

"Do you want me to continue or not. Besides, might as well get the ball rolling" he responded.

"Well... His name was Loke. He was pretty adorable with his orange hair and glasses" I smiled and thought back, reliving my memories with him.

"Well, I can see that you really liked him by the way you look right now." Natsu replied. I couldn't tell whether his response had and underlying tone of jealous or sarcasm in it.

"No, we're just good friends, I never really had strong feelings for him and him for me. Which I guess is pretty much the reason it didn't work out."

I think Natsu felt satisfied enough with that answer but I guess for now, it was my turn. I was gonna make Natsu pay for all the things he did to me. This is certainly gonna be fun.

"Okay Natsu, truth or dare?" Natsu looked up and began thinking, until he finally decided on dare. Luckily, he was too predictable so I already had thought something up.

"I dare you to do your most embarrassing dance for 20 seconds."

Just the thought of Natsu dancing already had me bursting out laughing. I wouldn't have minded daring him to do something which might get him in trouble, but a lofty man such as himself putting himself in shame certainly did me more justice. He rolled his eyes before he stood up and began moving in awkward positions. It was honestly too much for me though, just five seconds in, and I was laughing so hard that it hurt. The next 15 seconds, were for even better and I was in tears by the time it was over.

After the dance was over and I regained my composure and Natsu was very angry. After a few short seconds though, he began to chuckle. It was probably his first time in a while doing something so unseemly in his perspective. I then began to process the real reason for his laughing however.

It was once again my turn to go.

My life was officially over.

Natsu's P.O.V

After finishing one the witless act Lucy had thought up, I asked her the big question. Who knew that three simple words could change Lucy's facial expression in a matter of seconds.

"Well?" I asked again after she didn't respond, "Which is it? Truth or dare?"

She took a deep breath before muttering out,

"Truth"

"Oh, I'm sorry Miss Heartfilia, but certainly you can respond better than that"

"Well I don't see it against the rules to pick truth twice in a row!"

"Have it your way" Natsu exclaimed in defeat. I stared at him watching his facial expression switch from reasoning, to a small smile.

Oh no, I thought in my head; my mind was racing. He finally spoke up,

"You're in love with me, aren't you?" He asked me. Although I heard him clear as day, I still asked him again if he could repeat it.

"Wha-what?! You're kidding right." I had expected it a humorous question, but as I studied his face and saw nothing but his somber and stern face. This time he commanded a response.

"Admit you love me," this time enunciating every word.

"Not even remotely" I spoke keeping my composure.

"Okay" he added. "I bet you I can change that anytime I'd like."

"How could you ever believe I'd love you? Your a narcissistic and arrogant jerk who's been doing nothing but ignoring me and treating me like utter crap!"

Natsu closed his eyes and sat up quietly. Finally, his eyes opened again and he spoke up.

"You are a huge pain in my ass, you know that? I hear nothing but you from my father and how our so called relationship is progressing. Not to mention, I don't find you all that attractive. No offense though, honey."

I couldn't even process all he was saying. It wasn't all that surprising to hear from him especially after what I said but was I really expected to marry him down the road. I didn't exactly think much of him or our future ether however.

"Let's form an agreement, Lucy, can I call you that? Let's get married."

"Wait, what?!"

"We will get married, as planned." Natsu repeated irritated. Wait, I thought. This is all just a game to him. He's got to be joking- Or was he?

"And just why would I want to do that?"

Natsu's P.O.V

Do I really need to explain myself to her? I figured it was all obvious, and in any case a win-win scenario for the two of us.

"Listen, if we supposedly get married like my father wants, you get your fortune and fame for getting to marry someone like me, and I get to secretly date around with your willing." 

"You've got to be kidding me," Lucy said, "I don't want your money and fortune. The only reason I'm doing this is for my father and his wellbeing. I don't care if I only get enough to provide for him only. I came here open and willing to accept any kind of mental or physical abuse that comes to me because unlike you, I have a family I care about."
