        “Rin... Rin” a voice called

“No! No! Get out of my head! No!” I shouted as I held my head “get out of my head, get out of my head, get out of my heeeeaaaaadd!!”

“Rin… everything is going to be alright,it’s okay, you’re safe.” a sweet tender voice spoke.

“No! It’s not, I killed her, I killed her!” I repeated

“Rin! No you didn’t… it was an accident, you didn’t hurt anybody.”

“The blood, the blood, there was so much blood!”

“Rin, Snap out of it!”

I got slapped.

“M-M-Mom…” tears began to slide down my cheeks.

“Rin, everything is going to be alright! You’re safe…”

“Mom!” I cried into her arms “there was so much blood, I was… terrified”

“It’s okay… I’m here and there’s nothing that can hurt you”

I sniffed as I looked up into her light green eyes “Mom…”

“Rin…”

“I’m sorry…”

“For what?” she asked

“Everything…”

“There’s no need to apologize…. I love you and that’s all that matters, okay” I nodded in agreement.

My name is Rin Kannagi,

I’m sixteen years old and at the age of ten I was adopted into a really nice home with two loving parents. Lately I’ve been having nightmares of my best friend Chisaki and the cause of her death, everybody says it was an accident, but somehow I know it wasn’t. All I remember was seeing a lot of blood and being hit with a rock, but in my nightmares it’s me with the blood on my hands and killing all four of them with a shovel, including Chisaki.

“Hurry up or you’ll be late to school” my mother patted me on my head, I smiled and gave her a nod before getting up.

It was cold outside, yet the sun was doing a great job of keeping me warm. I turned around and waved goodbye before heading off towards the school, she shouted.

“I love you!”

“Love you too, bye” I giggled and began to walk to school.

I walked towards my locker and gently placed my street shoes down replacing them with my school shoes.

“Let’s go, Lily” I turned around as I watch the girls laugh with one another and sighed.

“Wait up!” a girl with red hair bumped into me while dropping my stuff “oops, sorry” she laughed and quickly caught up with her friends, I rolled my eyes and bent down.

“Female Dog.” I whispered to myself as I quickly gathered my stuff and headed to class. I walked into the classroom and made my way all the way to the back of the room where I always sat. Like always it was empty, just me and the sound of students shouting outside of the closed door. I waited patiently for the bell to ring and for class to start, slowly students walked in with their friends at their side. Finally the teacher came in and everyone was seated.

“Okay class, I have some interesting news for you” the teacher began “we’re having a new student.” Everyone began whispering in excitement and I just sat there with my head down, like always. “Okay, you can come in” the door opened and a boy came in with a happy aura surrounding him.
