•IV• MEETING HIM

I walked around the seemingly normal camp, but the more I took in my surroundings, I realized how peculiar it truly is.

I mean, come on, there is a fricking lava wall and teenagers fighting dummies! It's insane but somehow I felt at home.

Then suddenly I saw some snobby talking amongst themselves and whispering and pointing at her, making me feel self-conscious, but then I saw a girl, keeping herself away from the crowd. Then she came up to me, after seeing my melancoly face. The pretty girl walked slowly up to me, as though she was trying not to trigger a land mine. When she finally came up to me she said,

"hey, I've never seen you around before. I'm Piper, what's your name?"

Suddenly, I felt a thousand times better, knowing that there was some hope left in this camp.

"U-uhm, I'm Mariah. Mariah Goode, thanks for, ya know, talking to me. Not many people have."

"Oh, it's no problem. I know what it's like to be looked down upon here, but I promise that'll end, super soon."

That made me smile. Suddenly remembering the whole reason I came out of the infirmary was to find this Jason, so I asked Piper.

"Oh hey, sorry that this is so sudden but, do you know who Jason Grace is?"

She looked at me skeptically and asked, "Yeah, why?"

"Well, Annabeth told me to go find him, so he could give me a better idea on what this camp is and what it's all about."

She suddenly dropped her skeptical face and I heard her murmur, 'I mean, Annabeth must have good intentions so-'

"Oh yeah, you could usually find him near the Poseidon cabin or in a clearing in the forest."

I raised my eyebrows and smiled. "Thank you, so I guess he is a child of Posedion and he likes nature, right?"

Piper just chuckled at my naivness and shook her head.

"No, not at all, but I'll let you figure that out yourself."

I saw a mean looking pretty girl call Piper over toward the crowd of pretty people.

"Well, I gotta go, if you ever need anything, feel free to stop by the Aphrodite cabin and ask for Piper McLean, bye Mariah and good luck!"

And with that, she left without me getting the chance to udder a word. Okay, let's go find Jason Grace.

It took me a minute to navigate my way around the amazing camp and I got in front of a golden cabin. I doubt this is the Poseidon cabin, so I kept looking around and stumbled upon a sign that read, καμπίνες μία, δύο, τρεις, τέσσερις, πέντε και έξι στα αριστερά. καμπίνες επτά, οκτώ, εννέα, δέκα, ένδεκα και δώδεκα προς τα δεξιά.

At first, I thought I was looking at chicken scratch but then perfectly understood it. I decided to take my chances and go to the left. And I'm glad I did because shortly after I came upon a beachy themed cabin that had a trident at the top of it.

Thankfully, I paid attention to the Greek unit in history class and remembered that the trident was the symbol of Poseidon. I then saw two boys sitting and talking about stuff. I tested my luck once again and asked the blonde and ravenette,

"Sorry to interrupt, but do you know a Jason Grace?"

The sea green eyed teen looked at the blonde, chuckled and hit the blue eyed boy on the shoulder, as to signify that he was the one I am looking for. Suddenly, the blonde turned to me and I got to look at his brilliant blue eyes and he smiled at me.

"You're looking at him. How can I help you?"

Damn, he's cute and nice. "I'm assuming that Annabeth told you and I am sorry if she didn't but she instructed me to find you so I could get a tour from you."

The ravenette perked up, I wonder why. The blonde, who I learned whose name is Jason, stuttered and I swore that I saw a faint blush on his face,

"Y-yeah, sure come on, follow me. Sorry Percy, we'll hang later."

The sea green eyed- Percy, waved him off and told Jason,

"You're good Jason, talk to you later."

I awkwardly stood there, waiting for them to be done with talking.

"So, what's your name, newbie?" He asked me, and I've never been happier to respond.

Wowie, what a chapter! (Hopefully its decent enough-) I decided to make this chapter longer because it has been soo long since I updated this and I kept my promise, that being that Jason would end up in this chapter. Also, if you couldnt read and understand the Greek in this chapter, you're lame. (No, I'm just kidding, I had to look it up because I do not know or speak or write Greek stuff) here is the translation-

καμπίνες μία, δύο, τρεις, τέσσερις, πέντε και έξι στα αριστερά. καμπίνες επτά, οκτώ, εννέα, δέκα, ένδεκα και δώδεκα προς τα δεξιά. - cabins one, two, three, four, five and six on the left. cabins seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven and twelve to the right.
