AUTHOR's POV

It is the 4th year of Myoui Mina being in Korea. Years ago she had to move because her parents kept bugging her to pursue medical. Yes you might think that it was unnecessary to move to another country when obviously there was good University for other majors too in Japan.

But back then, it was a real deal though. Her Dad couldn't stop telling her that being a doctor would earn her much money and her Mom couldn't stop saying that she could get great husband who is also a doctor if she is one.

It was when Myoui Mina didn't know what she wanted but she knew that she didn't want to be a doctor.
She was positive, so she moved to Korea. With limited knowledge of the country, she survived. Thanks to Kdrama & Kpop, she learnt a lot.

Now she had almost finished her study from Seoul National University Business School, she wanted to try for a job. Even as an intern would be okay, as long as she gets closer to her dream, being the famous marketing director in Korea. She wanted to show her parents that being the doctor isn't the only way to succeed in life.

11:00 AM at TWICE Creative Digital Agency

Mina looked at the reminder on her phone, she just had an interview chance in the rising Digital Agency in Seoul.

--

"Myoui Mina." Someone from the agency called up her name, Mina couldn't lie but she felt like she was suffocated as she was nervous.

Mina needed to breath. After two breaths in and out, the called girl nodded and felt more relaxed when the one who called her smiled reassuringly, "Just relax. Ms. Park is really nice and she is just your age, you'll be fine. I've read your CV too, you'll be fine."

Mina smiled and thanked the older girl, "Thank you, Ms. Yoo." Yoo Jeongyeon just smiled and patted the younger girl's back once again before knocking on the Managing Director's glass door, "Jihyo, the intern is here."

Park Jihyo hummed and didn't stop writing down on her board, she leaned back to see the board once again and tapped her finger on her chin, "Hmm…"

Mina was standing up, didn't know what to do, she just stood there and watched Jihyo writing down, checking out her laptop at times and calculating some numbers at times.

The Director's room was not messy, it was actually quite neat, there were only a few papers scattered on the working desk beside the new macbook with black case.

There was a blazer draped on the chair, where Mina supposed, Jihyo usually sat on, signing that the Managing Director in front of her usually dressed up in the office. Then beside the desk, there were some bean bags in front of the whiteboards, it felt like some real brainstormings used to happen there.

Mina took a better sight on the board, Jihyo was making Strategy for the upcoming Campaign. Mina was surprised she could understand it, but she decided to ask before guessing, "Is it for New Year Campaign?"

Park Jihyo stopped writing and looked at Mina, "Mmm hmm, oh sorry, I-uh, just give me a moment. I'm in the middle of something, yes new year campaign, it's for our client." Jihyo smiled as she continued writing down Keywords for New Year, like 2020, New, Old, then Mina said something almost inaudibly, "Resolutions"

Mina pursed her lips as she didn't think she would voiced out her thoughts, "I am sorry."

"Wait, no, resolutions, that's good. New Year Resolutions, that's good. We should create campaign that maybe fulfilling people's resolutions, or helping them fulfilling it with our products. Hey, it's good!"

Jihyo jolted down some notes then smiled widely towards Mina, "What's your name?"
Mina put her CV on the table beside Jihyo, "Mina, Myoui Mina."

"You aren't Korean?"
Mina nodded weakly, here we go again, "Yes I am a Japanese but I will work hard to learn and-"

"Chill, we have Japanese and Taiwanese work here too. I am just asking because your name doesn't sound Korean." Jihyo chuckled when she saw the younger girl got nervous on the question.

TWICE really didn't have any kind of discrimination, it is rising in the industry because the company culture doesn't let discrimination to be one. Only passion could do well in the company, and Myoui Mina seemed to be passionate in what she was doing, "When can you start?"

"I-what?"

"Tomorrow?"

"Sure!" Jihyo smiled once again, "Tell me about yourself. I like your passion but I have to introduce you to the team tomorrow, it would be better for me to know you better."

Mina smiled happily as she nodded, "I am Myoui Mina, I am currently enrolled at Seoul National University Business School, I will graduate in 3 months as I have finished defending my thesis, I am currently 22, in a few months I will be 23, I love to learn about new things but I might need help to learn to speak in public."

"Very nice of you to know what your weaknesses and your strengths are. Alright, I'm Park Jihyo, Managing Director here. Since the company is still new, I currently lead several divisions here. We have 8 members and now 9 with you.

I started this company with Im Nayeon, our Account Director, Yoo Jeongyeon the one who took you here, she is in charge of Human Resources and General Administrative, if you need anything just go to her.

Then we have Hirai Momo and Minatozaki Sana as our Content Specialists.

Mina looked to the two that Jihyo pointed at, another Japanese girls!! Yas! One of the girls seemed to be editing some vlogs while the other was writing and talking to the one who was in front of the desktop.

We have other interns too, Dahyun as our Community Specialist Intern, Chaeyoung as Graphic Designer & Photographer intern, then Tzuyu she is for Influencer Marketing intern, since she is influencer as well.

Mina looked at the 3, the one who talked seemed to be Dahyun as she seemed to be people person while the other girl with Camera might be Chaeyoung and the beauty who just listened to them must be the Influencer.

And now you, welcome as our Digital Strategist Intern, Myoui Mina."
