yes , i am in a relationship with ricky . although , i cant help but think that hes still not over nini . he seemed to have really liked her and he was still pretty fresh out of the relationship —1 month .
" hey are you okay ? " ricky looked at me in concern .
i looked back at him and put a fake smile , " yeah im fine . "
he softly smiled before looking at nini and e.j . i sighed . i was used to him doing this , he always payed attention to nini more than me .
i was too scared to confront him about this before because i didnt want to start a fight , or even a break up .
the bell rung and i stood up and walked out of the classroom without ricky . he probably wouldnt care anyway .
the whole day , i would avoid him or try to be out of his sight . that was until the dismissal bell rang and i started walking home . i usually walk home with ricky , but it seemed different now .
" y/n !! wait up ! " i sighed and turned around , immediately knowing who was calling out my name .
ricky caught up to me , " hey , are you okay ? you havent been talking to me this whole day . im starting to really worry . "
" like you would care , " i mumbled and rolled my eyes , turning around and continuing my walk home .
" what do you mean ? " he asked , his eyebrows upturned in worry .
i scoffed , " i know that you like nini still . you couldve told me how you felt instead of leading me on . "
his eyes widened , " y/n/n please- "
" you only dated me to get your mind off of nini huh ? " i did feel some kind of guilt in my heart since i genuinely liked ricky , but i was being played .
he stood there , shuffling his feet and staring at the ground , taking deep breaths . he didnt respond , making me turn around and walk away .
