Astrids Pov
The whole time Miguel looked quite uncomfortable.
"Stop pigging out guys. Come on!" I yelled, interrupting the talk.
Miquel shot me a thankful look as we all finally paid attention to the lesson, instead of the teacher.
"Anyways," Mr. Frost looked mildly annoyed, Miguel shrunk in his seat.
I patted his hand for comfort, Mr. Frost shot a glare at me.
"Today we are learning..."
~Time skip~
RING~
Miguel and I stayed back in class to eat lunch because really no one wants to be in a room with a whole bunch of judgy teenagers. I texted Rose that we were going to eat lunch here. Don't worry we got permission from Frost.
I have to say he's a good teacher. When Rose gets here she looks pale compared to this morning.
"What's Wrong?" I asked.
She just shook her head and sat down.
Something was clearly up, she was resting her head on the desk, I could hear small groans coming from her.
I reached over and felt her forehead, and immediately jerked away.
"Oh my gods Rose, your forehead is scalding," I said, sounding very concerned.
"It's fine, it's just a fever." She argued.
I stood and grabbed her arm, "Come on let's go to the nurse."
"NOOOOO~" Rose complained the whole way there.
I had just told Rose to quiet down when we turned into the office.
"Oh my goodness! What happened?" The secretary exclaimed.
"I'm not sure, but she has a fever," I replied, handing Rose off to the nurse.
~time skip~
I had been on my phone waiting for Rose to get out so I could take her home.
"We have a problem." Said a voice.
It was the nurse.
"What's the problem?" I said putting my phone up.
"Rose is in her... uh rut."
"What!?!?"
"Oh! don't worry though, she'll be fine. She just needs some sleep." She replied trying to comfort me.
"She doesn't just need sleep though, just gonna let you find out what she needs yourself." I heard the nurse whispered.
Shrugging I walked into Rose laying face down on the bed.
"What are you doing?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
When she didn't answer I walked closer.
"I said what are you- woah" I exclaimed when I felt a sudden force on my arm tugging me down.
Opening my eyes I was met with Icy eyes.
"Rose? Are you okay?" I asked looking up into her eyes.
She didn't answer. After a few seconds, she sighs. She leans down and rests her forehead against mine.
"You still have a fever, come on let's get you home."
"I don't have a fever, Astrid." She said.
"What do you mean! Of course, you do! Your forehead feels like a sauna." I retort.
"Astrid," she says inching her lips closer, "Its not a fever."
"But, I-" I start.
Rose connects our lips for just a second, cutting me off.
"I'm in a rut," Rose says.
I lay there shocked. A rut. That means.
"Okay, let's go to my house," I say.
"What? why?"
"We are not making love, in a nurse's office."
"Fine." She grumbled pulling me up. Suddenly smiling.
"I just remembered I'm a warlock, bed of yours here we come." She smirked.
̈ ̈Wait! MY bed? Why not yours?!¨ I exclaimed.
̈ ̈Because my dad is there! Duh!¨
̈ ̈My mom hasn't even gone to work yet!¨
̈ ̈Fine do you have a secret space we can go to.¨ I asked.

I felt a pulling sensation and looked around to see things moving quite quickly past us.
I closed my eyes because I was getting nauseous. When I opened Isaw a beautiful cave that had a queen-size bed. I didn't get to look around for a soon as I opened my eyes I was pushed onto the bed and the curtains were pulled closed.
I looked up to see Rose with her pupil wolf-like. I swallowed as I felt a sudden heat move around me.
