Nikki was still quietly growling protecting Eli in her arms staring into the darkness of the other room.Slowly and quietly as she could she let go of Eli and whispered"Stay here...i don't want you to get hurt..." With a bit of a stutter but a genuine tone.Eli nodded and watched her slowly walk in to the darkness....Everything was dead silent except the quite breeze from out side.But silence didn't last long with Nikki letting out a ear piercing scream and a thud followed by quit whimpers.Be it out of instinct or out of stupidity he ran. Into the other room to protect her.
She was on the floor curled into ball only wimpering in pain,Above her was two men both foxes hidden under jackets one holding a baseball bat and the other holding a nine iron.Eli had no clue what to do but he did the one thing mind told to do, protect Nikki and himself.
