Chapter five

Eddies pov

I remember walking around a bit once Richie was gone I looked around town walking until I then saw a boy it was the new kid his name was Ryan the first day he picked on me and the losers

I then saw Richie! In front of him I went to tell Ryan to leave him alone when I saw a metal bat hit against Ryan's head causing blood to fall onto me Richie then could see me "yo- yu-you killed him!" I screamed then running but my whole body was then held down from running

Richie was gonna kill me he grabbed me what else would he do I started screaming that's when he faced me towards me he was holding me so I couldn't run we stared at each other as I screamed he then put his finger on my lip "sh it'll be okay" he smiled I was so confused

"Okay!? You killed him!" I squealed trying to escape his hands he put his finger back on my lips "sh hush Ed's I wouldn't hurt you" he said brushing my hair back with his hand

I swatted his hand away not looking at him "Eddie look at me" he softly said I still kept my head away "Eddie" he said softly again I finally looked "Eddie I won't hurt you I could never hurt you but you can't tell anyone ok?" He said

I don't know why but I nodded he then put me on his shoulders and picked up Ryan's lifeless body he started walking he kept one hand in my arm still in case I would try anything

"Where are we going..?" I shakes violently I was terrified "Eddie I'm not gonna hurt you" he said again I then realized we were at the barrens he tossed Ryan's body into the pipe he then took me off his shoulders I then saw a face a clown snatched Ryan's body and he disappeared I cried as Richie picked me up and sighed

Though I was scared I cried on Richies shoulder what if he was lying what if he wants to kill me but I don't know how I felt a safe

Soon we arrived at his house was he kidnapping me?! He then put me on his bed were some show was still playing "eds I'm sorry but I can't trust you yet so you'll stay here for a few days " he said sighing I started crying I didn't understand why he was different now

"What the hell happened to you" I mumbled "oh I don't know maybe being stuck with a fucking demon clown for a year and watching the love of your life move on and your friends move on" he exclaimed sarcastically

"Richie we thought you were dead you don't know how much I missed you I cried every night and texted you every night ok it took me 7 fucking awful months to get over the fact that you were gone forever!" I exclaimed "but whatever happened it changed you and I don't like it" I whispered

He just sighed I had my knees up to my chest on the edge of the other side of the bed he started rubbing his eyes I saw the door was opened I ran for it I heard him sigh loudly and run right after me I screamed but he was the only one home

He grabbed my arm "let me the fuck go!" I yelled "Eddie listen to me for once!" He yelled "I have an explanation for this all but you won't let me fucking talk to you" he said

Richies pov

Wow Eddie saw my murder someone and now he knows I've been lying he's tried to run two or three times "ok if u don't give him those kids he'll kill you and the losers ok but.." I continued "but what?" He asked "maybe you could help it with me and it will protect you too" I said quietly

"You know god damn well I wouldn't try to hurt anyone ever!" He shouted "Eddie all I'm trying to do is keep you safe!"I exclaimed

"I k-know I'm sorry..." he whispered through tiny sobs "Eddie come on don't cry it won't be that bad" I said softly pulling him into a small hug

"You'll just stay here a bit ok" I said I knew I was lying I knew he definitely couldn't control keeping something this big a secret he would probably stay here a long time

I finally got him to come back up to the bedroom he curled up on the edge of the bed and fell asleep
