Chapter six

(Day two)

Eddies pov

I woke up to seeing Richie watching some tv show it was the next morning two days since I've Been here he looked over "Mornin Ed's" he said a smile forming on his face I just noded back

He then got out of the bed and started looking in his closet he pulled out a shirt and jeans that's when he started taking his shirt off "don't change here!" I exclaimed "well what if you run away if I change in another room?" He said "if I escaped you can run faster than me plus this shitty town is small it's not like I could just disappear and since I'm clumsy you'd probably catch me before I even walk out the door" I replied it was all true sadly

"Eh true" he said then walking into his bathroom and closing the door well everything but I wasn't clumsy I used to be but I've been super careful lately

I slowly got up not a sound made I then tiptoed fast down the stairs I saw the door and ran for it til a figure appeared in front of me it was Richie but how did he hear me I didn't even hear his door open "Ed's you seriously thought I wouldn't know if you would try to get out?" He asked

"Yeah.." I replied slowly "I'm just trying to keep you safe Ed's and if you escape you'll tell everyone the truth I know you will" he said "and I won't make you hurt anyone but you at least need to lure people to me so teh clown Dosent kill you or the others" he sighed

He then grabbed my hand and I looked at the door there were locks I wouldn't have gotten out anyways he unlocked the doors and we went out still holding my hand he looked around and pointed a random person out "ok Eddie it's for everyone's safety go up to that person and say you've been kidnapped or something ok and when I'm behind him close your eyes ok?" He asked and said

"O-ok.." I said softly he slowly let go I could have ran right then but I walked up to them I could tell them right now to help me but I didn't and I didn't understand why "sir please help this guy just kidnapped me from my house and he's after me!" I shouted trying to make tears form around my eyes I then saw Richie appear behind him I closed my eyes tightly "are yo-" was the last thing the man said before I squinted and saw him on the ground

I cried again I felt like a baby I cry about everything and I hate it richie then picked me up I cried onto his chest again I could run any moment since his grip was so light but I didn't and I didn't under stand why

Richies pov

I held Eddie as he cried I put him back on my shoulders like last time and picked up the stranger I more less dragged him he was older so harder to carry or drag I soon got to the barrens and placed the man inside the sewer I then walked away and that's when I saw Beverly walking

I couldn't trust Eddie around anyone yet since what happened this morning when he tried to run away I quickly ran behind my house "Richie what are you doing" he asked yawning "nothing" I replied my window was luckily open I climbed up a ladder my dad had there since he used to paint our roof "Richie!" Eddie exclaimed "shh!" I replied as I took him off my shoulders "go in the window I'll be in soon" I said as he slowly went inside the window he sighed as I shut the window I looked around for something hard to place on it I found a few bricks I don't know why they were up here but they were heavy so I put them on the window so he couldn't lift the window open

I then climbed down the ladder and went back on the street "hey Richie have you heard the news?" Beverly said I noticed dried drippy mascara on her face she had been crying "what news?" I asked "Eddie missing no one has seen him since yesterday he hasn't texted anyone and his mom or us can't find him have you seen him?" She asked

"Um no.." I said quietly I then remembered I had Eddie phone that must have been why it was blowing up last night

That's when the phone made a ringing noise from my pocket I tried to ignore it "you gonna answer that?" She asked "oh um no" I replied "oh" she said then walked away after saying goodbye

I then unlocked my door and walked in I walked upstairs to see Eddie on the bed looking at my old sketch book

He didn't notice I was in the room yet but I saw him smiling at the drawings "like em Ed's" I laughed he jumped and quickly closed it "when did you uh make them?" He asked slowly "three years ago" I replied sitting next to him

"There ..nice" he said handing me the book "thanks" I said smiling a bit I the put on a show then a part came on where both me and Eddie burst out laughing he laughed so much he almost fell off the bed I quickly caught him and pulled him up accidentally moving my hand near his stomach he then started laughing I then did it again and he laughed more to the point I was tickling him he laughed and kicked until we were both on the floor laughing

We laid on the floor for 15 minutes til I realized he was asleep I picked him up bridal style and lates him on the bed I laid next to him putting my arm around him slowly falling asleep
