Chapter eight

Eddies pov
(Day four)

I woke up early me and Richie had fell asleep on the couch I then heard a knock on the door right as I was about to get up and answer the door I remembered

"Richie wake up someone's at the door" I yawned he quickly got up "here get under the covers" he said lifting them up I crawled under and he put more blankets and pillows on my blanket

I heard him open the door it was stan "Richie are you sure you haven't seen Eddie?" He said "no stan I haven't" Richie replied "Richie stop lying! Where were you for a year and what did you do to Eddie!" He shouted "nothing!" He exclaimed "I saw the closet move and why would you make two plates of food and water and the fact eddie disappears just a few days after you come back" stan stated "Stan I don't know where he is ok!" Richie exclaimed

"Richie please stop lying you legit had five thousand mental breakdowns when you thought the other Eddie was a fake you haven't cried about Eddie disappearing once!" Stan shouted "Stan I didn't do anything to eddie!" Richie shouted back

"Promise me your not lying" Stan said "I promise Stan I wouldn't ever lie to you" Richie said I could tell Stan was worried and I was about to cry but I knew I couldn't see anyone cause if they asked anything I'm not good at keeping secrets at all and it's something I hate about myself

Soon I heard the door shut and I crawled out of the covers with a few tears Richie came over and rubbed my back as I cried a bit "Eddie I'm sorry this happened I just wished you never showed up there" Richie said he dried my tears

I looked up at him "I know your just trying to protect us from the clown" I softly said he smiled "there's someone I need you to
Meet" he said

(Stranger thangs be comin!)

"Who?" I asked confused he was actually gonna let me see another human "yeah her names el short for eleven" he replied "she's someone I met during that year" he said a faint smile appeared on his face

He then looked around the living room and grabbed a hoodie "here put this on" he said handing it to me

I put it on and he put the hood up "let's go" he exclaimed grabbing one of his parents car keys I followed but he didn't pick me up or lead me outside with a hand he just let me walk out I followed him he then unlocked the car he opened the door for me and I stepped in

He shut the door and got into the other side "do you know how to drive a car even?" I Asked "maybeeee" he smiled as he started driving "Richie Tozier your gonna be the death of me" I laughed he smiled

Richies POV

I laughed as we kept driving "why do you want me to meet el?" He asked "she has kinda like this power" is all I said the rest of the drive was silent I parked outside a small house and knocked on the door

A boy who looked a bit like me opened the door "hello?" He said as he saw me and Eddie with a hood so he couldn't we who he was "yeah um is el here she said I should come over today" I replied "oh yeah come in" he said opening the door

We walked in I saw el sitting on a couch "el!" I said smiling she turned and hugged me "Richie!" She said "is this Eddie?" She asked smiling looking at him "mhm" I said taking his good down she hugged him he looked confused but hugged back with a smile

"Here can you see what he's doing please" I said handing her a photo of stan the kid who looked kinda liked me was called upstairs by another male voice "hold on" she said she put her hand out blood cane from her nose as she closed the door "how the?" Eddie silently whispered

She then put on a blind fold and took the picture she sat down
And started saying what stan was saying at the moment "bill I'm telling you richie knows where Eddie is I think he toke him or something" she then said what Bill was saying back "stu-stan if yo-your that sure let's gu-go check" "shit" I said

"Ed's we gotta go now thanks for the help el!" I said as Eddie ran behind me we ran into the car and I started driving as soon as we both got in "what's happening??" Eddie exclaimed "there gonna get into the house and see your stuff and find out" I said driving faster

We got there in time and ran inside "ok let's clean up" I said quickly me and Eddie picked up all his stuff we hid it in places that's when the door started shaking someone was unlocking it "Eddie follow me" I said running upstairs I opened a small closet and opened a small door hidden in there I crawled in he crawled in second we shut it along with the closet door

"Are you su-sure he's not here" I heard bill ask "I don't think" Stan replied the space was small that me and Eddie were in but it had some canned foods and water bottles I never went in here but always knew it was here

He was looking at the food "how long has this been on here" he asked "eh i don't know" I said he then picked up a can "ew it has stuff on it" he said throwing it down "yeah mud" I laughed looking at his hands "ew!" He exclaimed he then put his hands and rubbed the mud on my cheeks

"Eddie you did not" I said he started laughing I then took a finger of mud off my face and put it on his nose he squealed we then started throwing mud at each other we then fell and burst out laughing "did y-you hear that!" I heard bill say loud "yeah it sounded like laughing where did it come from?" Stan asked

"Shit" I mumbled Eddie looked like he could say the same thing "what if they find me?!" He started having a panic attack "I don't want to leave"
He started crying a bit I hugged him and he latched onto me

"I thought you wanted to leave" I said "I was scared at first but i don't want to leave now" he sighed we stayed there all night I stayed up a long time as Eddie fell asleep he mumbled something but I couldn't tell what
