Kid awoke to a warmth around him. He felt like a cloud, floating in the arms he was held in. He didn't want to open his eyes. But he did, and saw a beautiful sight. Soul was asleep, holding him. A smile was on his face, and he seemed to be laughing. "Kid, stop staring." He realized that Soul had been awake. Kid blushed a bright scarlet, looking like a tomato he replied with "I wasn't starin- mmfph!" Soul didn't let him finish, and pressed their lips together. After regaining his ability to think and work his bodily functions, he wrapped his arms around Soul. The kiss was long and sweet, full of emotions that didn't need to be talked about. They broke apart to applause. "I'm glad to see you better Soul, but mind not sucking each other's faces out before I get to examine you?" They looked back, faces painted red, to see Dr.Stein with a smirk on his face, arms crossed.
