Third Person's POV

They just watched.

All perched and resting in their own areas, littering her room with their large frames. Watching her peacefully sleep. Watching Her.

They already had time to adjust to the realm, the sparse zoning in and out of space a great toll. They wished for rest, but only after she was secure and safe. She's their priority now. Their all now.

With their wings hidden from view, tucked into the highest realm until needed, they almost looked human, Normal, if it weren't for their eyes. The patterns and colors portrayed too supernatural to be ignored.

Gifted with the power over words and emotions alike, a heavy gold ordained Aurlo's eyes, while a sky to ocean blue rested in Memri's, a tribute to his capabilities with water. Electric, temptation green in Septo, his persuasion strong. Yocyera's a deep violet, compliments of his nature-tending gift, strike soft against Cassius' lightning silver eyes, given for his favorite weather to summon. Searion's eyes matched his name, the ruby red orbs reflecting his fire affinity. Paelo, had the most brilliant.

Eyes of rainbow adorned his face, each shade merging into a beauty as its own. His access to memories does not end, like a rainbow itself.

The seven figures waited patiently for Caralina to fall deeper into sleep, not wanting their statures to disturb her peace just yet.

"I think it's safe now."

"You sure? We thought that last time and she almost collapsed."

"I think we're good."

Septo was the first to move, his large frame stretching out from the small, confining couch. The others followed suit, leaving the chairs and shelves they occupied to meet the beautiful soul they were tasked to protect. While the others toyed with items and made small talk, Memri approached Caralina and observed her. Yocyera had gotten to see her up close, through the eyes of the humming bird he summoned, and Memri wanted the same experience.

Her mouth let out small puffs of air, the peaceful look on her face an ease to his worries. This introduction needs to be smooth, including the moments before and after. They still haven't worked out how they'd approach her, surely seven men claiming angelic descent in your house uninvited would be a lot to handle.

Memri's thoughts were interrupted by the sight of her nose twitching, a honey-brown curl that escaped her ear teasing the tip. He couldn't fight the smile that arose, and lifted his hand to sweep away the hair. Aurlo noticed his movement.

"Ri, don't-"

But his fingers had already swept across her skin, making contact and causing a tremor to run through little Cara. She had been sleeping sweet and sound, until she felt a cool, watery touch on her cheek. It was gentle, caring, and even without knowing where it came from, she wanted more.

She felt serene.

Then it left. As quickly as it came. Only then did she hear the voices.

"I didn't know!" A boy's voice? Man? Cara was confused.

"Now you do, genius. Your abilities project through touching her. She probably thinks she's in the ocean right now."

"I didn't mean to-"

She felt overwhelmed by the voices. Their words resounded and overlapped, blurring together. With her head pounding, her body woke up, small chills traveling up and down at the deep sounds in her room. Sunlight danced over her eyes as their words became less fuzzy, her mind grasping the foreign sounds.

'Intruders'

She snapped her eyes open with panic running through her. People. In the house. Uninvited.

In her room.

Sitting up, she ignored the warm wisps of heat dancing across her pajama-clad body and stared, wide-eyed at the seven enormous men crowding her room. They were all tall, clad in white linen shirts and similar jeans, well over 6'2 with big, muscular physiques that could crush her in an instant.

Sugarsnaps.

Cara's heart sped up as she desperately tried and failed to hold back tears, her hands shaking as she gripped onto her covers and held them close. She stared on through her blurry eyes as they all talked, still unable to clearly understand them. Then one of them turned, to gesture to her and halted, seeing her conscious. Sharp, star green eyes gazed back as the rest did the same, immediately focusing on the teary eyed angel. She whimpered at the attention.

One of them stepped forward and knelt by her bed, though the height difference was still visible, and tried to calm her down. She stared, frozen by his mesmerizing eyes. They were unreal. His voice even more so. Deep and warm, smooth and sound.

"Hey, it's alright. Sorry to scare you, we won't hurt you. We didn't wanna meet like this. Calm down for me and I'll explain why we're here, ok?" A sudden feeling of serenity came over her, the previous worry gone from her mind. Her breaths immediately slowed, along with the impending pounding of a headache. Oddly at peace, she glanced behind him at the others. Small smiles were given in hopes to ease her as she assessed them.

Seven. There were seven ginormous, bizarre men in her house. With her. Alone.

Still, she breathed easy. Her eyes flitted back to the one before her, with the silky black hair to the side, and entrancing gold eyes. Nodding slowly, she sucked in her bottom lip and listened. At the sight, he smiled warmly.

"Good. Okay. Hi Caralina." Slightly disengaging the tranquility in her system, alarm bells went off in her head."

"M-my name. You, know my name?" As he smiled wider, his eyes seemed to dance softly, swirls and shapes of sun traveling slowly. Her panic again ceased. She knew it was odd, her ease in this moment, but for some reason couldn't shake herself to feel scared. He chuckled softly.

"Yes, we know your name. I guess it's unfair that you don't know ours, huh?" He asked with an amused smile. She nodded earnestly. He stood up and held out his hand. She glanced at it, then back to him, uncertainty in her eyes. Another smile was given.

"I won't hurt you. None of us will." Sucking her lip, she toyed with her fingers, still slightly guarded. She didn't want to be stupid, and trust a stranger in her house, but oddly nothing about him said danger. Maybe he's just good at acting, and the moment she takes his hand, he and his henchmen will tie her up and sell her to the zoo or something. As always,

Stranger danger, but he doesn't feel like one. And she couldn't figure out why.

He nearly laughed at her thoughts. Taking her hand, he lightly pulled her out of bed and stood in front of her. Keeping their hands connected for the extra wave of reassurance she was about to need.

"My name is Aurlo, little Cara, and I, am one of the seven angels sent here for your protection."
