i was on my way to fetch rin in the school rooftop
I can see from a far that rin was talking to that brat.
Im curios and i decided to eavesdrop
"so tell me how was sakura's chocolate? dont tell me it's not good or i will fire a gandr on you. we both work hard on your chocolate" rin said
"it was delicious. And the shape of the chocolate was really cute." shirou answered
"im glad our work paid off" rin answered happily
"before i forget, here" shirou hands out a box
"what's this?"rin asked
"my valentine's present" shirou answered
"huh, isnt his too early for white day present?" rin asked
"in other countries, its normal for guys to give a gift on valentine's day" shirou answered
"you're right" rin agreed
"i have to go, sakura must be dismissed by now"
"make sure my sister will be having a good time" then shirou left
"how lucky my sister is! I'm sure shirou has big surprise for her on their date" rin commented
then rin stare at the box
"i wonder what it could be" then rin opens the box
it was an amethyst bracelet
"too bad it's not red" rin commented
"that's because amethyst is your birthstone. That brat really think well" i apperead to rin's side
"archer, im glad you finally come" rin happily answered
"you said i need you to take to a place, what place was it?" i asked
"can you take me to a place where i can see how beautiful the fuyuki city at night and where no one can disturb us?" rin asked
"no wonder why you have a big backpack. you're going to perform a ritual. I knew a place."
it was supposed to be a valentine's day, and i cant believe it, she didnt get a date
"wow archer, i can see the city lights, fuyuki's river and starry sky" rin was amazed
"why would you want to be here?" i asked
"can you trace table and chairs?" rin ordered
i trace a small chair and table
"no, not that. I need a table and chairs for the two of us" rin clarify
"for the two of us?" did i mishear it
"you're my date, you idiot! And i wont take no for anwer" rin answered
"what!!!" i was shocked
Rin laughed so hard
"you should have told me im your date. i should be the one who plan and prepares!!!" i complain
"i want to surprise you" rin smiled
"I didnt know you want me to be your date. You should have asked me. rin, you are really full of surprises" i answered
"then let me surprise you more with my cooking" rin proudly said
"very well i look forward to our date" then i finally trace a table and chairs
"give me few minutes to set the table and heat the food with my magic" rin answered
Then i finally take a bite of rin's cooking
"how was it? i'm aware it's no where near your level but i'll keep trying." rin said
"it was delicious" i answered
after dinner
"rin i have something for you" i said
"huh?!?!? but there is no way you can prepare something from the unexpected surprise i gave you not unless you're going to do something on spot" rin said
"i actually did prepare a gift for you. And i'm supposed to leave that gift to your room" i explained
"what is it?" rin got excited
i took her hand and place a small box
"you have a same gift with shiou?" rin guessed
"nope. Something better" i answere
When ring opened the box, it was a red heart shaped ring. almost similar to her red heart shape necklace
rin was so shocked she asked "archer are you proposing?"
"unfortunately not. it's just so happen that i remember you complain about using your necklace as last resort on your magic. i was thinking necklace would be easily snatch or fall off so maybe getting you a ring would be better"
"oh?" rin sound disappointed
" but i would get you a better ring if i propose"
rin gave me a hug.
Later we were both sitting in the bench that i traced, enjoying the scenery
"archer, i dont want to forget this night. Can we have a selfie? dont worry i'll crop the photo when posting the social media" rin requested
I agreed
"another one" rin requested again
Before i could hit the button, rin kissed my cheek i was surprised i dropped the phone.
I couldnt take it anymore, i went to kiss her in the lips

RIN's POV
i did crop my picture with archer. When i check my post this morning, it already has many likes, share and cokments
"i saw your facebook, instagram and twitter post. Who was that guy your hugging with?" sakura asked
"here's the uncropped picture" and i show sakura the picture of me kissing a surprised archer
"ayeee!!! tell me more" sakura asked
"sure as long as you tell me about yours"
