Izuku looked down at the forest beneath him. His wing was pulsing with pain at this point. Izuku's phone lost signal and he was just flying in the general direction of where his phone pointed.

"AH–" Izuku groaned as his wing let out and he fell slightly. "I have to go down, I can't fly any longer." He told himself.

Izuku slowly started to fly down. As he approached the trees he saw rustling in them.

"Wha..?" Izuku questioned as he was losing altitude fast. Izuku shielded himself with his wings as he burst through the trees. Izuku breathed heavily as he tried to slow himself, with little avail. Izuku had to think fast.

'So if I lean to the side I will hit a couple trees, I will get slowed down, if I don't break them that is. I can't stretch my wings out fully because of the tight space so that will have to be it.' Izuku finished as he took a deep breath and forced himself into a tree.

'CRACK'

A loud snap was heard as everything slowed down. Birds squawked and flew up. The tree fell with Izuku tailing it, branches from the tree fell on Izuku and hit his wings and back. Izuku groaned as everything sped up once again. Izuku flew again and hit another tree, causing a huge splinter in the tree. Izuku stopped and fell twenty (20) feet to the ground. He hit the ground with a hard thud.

"Damn, that hurt." Izuku groaned as he sat himself up, but flinched when he tried to move his wings. They had become extremely painful to even think about moving. He scooted back and leant up against a tree trunk. Izuku was looking down as he saw slight red fall onto his hands that were laying in his lap. Izuku frowned.

"What will I do now?" Izuku asked himself. He took another deep breath before sighing and looking at his surroundings. Izuku lowered his head slightly as everything was getting more and more blurry. His eyes landed on his wrist.

'The bracelet!" Izuku thought as he brought his hand to the other and pressed a small button. A red light appeared as a robotic voice appeared.

"A pro hero has been notified of your location. Please wait for them to assist and locate you. A hero has been notified of your location. Please wait for them to assist and locate you." The bracelet repeated. Izuku smiled slightly as he heard multiple footsteps running towards him.

"Midoriya!" A familiar voice said. It sounded like... mandalay?

"Hey." Izuku whispered lightly as everything went black.

Izuku's eyes slowly drifted open as he looked at his surroundings. His head was wrapped and he could feel an ice pack that he was laying on. He started to lean up as he groaned loudly.

"Woah there midoriya! You still are sore and hurt from that little stunt you pulled. You need to rest more!" Mandalay said.

'This is nice I guess. She feels like an aunt, or even a mother to me.'

"Okay." Izuku said as he leaned back and pinched his wing, causing him to flinch and sit up slightly. He attempted to readjust his wings, but ended up just flipping one of them over himself like a blanket, the best the couch backing would at least. Izuku's other wing hung over the side of the couch and fell onto the floor.

"I'll let you rest for now. But you will have to explain to us what happened later on. Got it midoriya?" Mandalay said.

"Yeah." Izuku said as he drifted off into sleep.

"Hey... hey... nii-Chan! Wake up!" Kouta said as he lightly shook Izuku awake.

Midoriya slightly opened his eyes to see kouta in a weird position to avoid standing on his wing. He chuckled. "All right I'm up." Izuku said while he fiddled with his wings, groaning ad he slowly sat up.

"Okay. When you sent that distress call, we went there and found you passed out and bleeding by a broken down tree while your wing was messed up and strained from overuse. care to explain?" The blond one said.

"I flew here to escape my schools stupid rules. There was this guy. He was at the school rooftop, and he was trying to jump so I had to try and catch him, but then they said that it was my fault and I would get punished. I was so done with my school's bull so I tried to come here but my wing hurt too much to land properly so I tried to slow myself down with a tree but I guess it broke." Izuku explained.

"I guess that kind of makes sense. You should really lay off your wings now since you hurt them again. Even since you're here now, we still need your mother to sign off on you to stay or be... Given to us." The male said to Izuku.

"Okay. If she says no, do I have to go home?" He asked.

"Yes, unfortunately." The male said again.

"We should call her or something. To ask if Izu-kun can stay!" Kouda said.

"Yeah I guess, let's call her." Mandalay said.

"I have her phone number memorized if that's okay." Izuku suggested.

"That's good, call her please." The blond one said again.

"Okay." Izuku opened his (now) charged phone and hovered over his mother's contact for a second, hesitating. He felt a hand on his shoulder and he breathed in a heavy breath before clicking the Inko icon.

The ringer played out loud before she answered.

"Huh? Why are you calling me right now? What do you want idiot?" Inko hissed through the phone.

"U-uhm, I was w-wondering if you would sign off on... my adoption release..." Izuku said into the phone.

"I would get to be here without you? I wouldn't have to deal with you?" Inko sounded as if she was thinking about something.

"No."
