Soo Jongkook and Im Yoona are preparing to say 'I do' as they host a wedding for their family and friends, 6 months after they announced their engagement back in March this year after going on vacation together. The couple's wedding is set to take place in South Korea, and they have been preparing hard and happily together for their big day which SM Entertainment has confirmed to be taking place later this month, and have started the celebrations with their Honsu and a rehearsal dinner has been planned by the couple with their families. The wedding date

A statement was made that revealed the date of the wedding by SM Entertainment last week revealed that Jongkook and Yoona are marrying on Friday 29th August. Few details were shared on the invitation ard except for that it was taking place in South Korea, and the couple told guests they are "honoured to have you on this special day".

The wedding venue

Jongkook and Yoona's nuptials are set to take place at the Myeongdong Cathedral, church was constructed with twenty types of locally fired red and gray bricks. The main building rises to 23m high, while the steeple, which contains a clock, rises to 45m, perfect setting for their religious ceremony.

Who is on the guest list?

As you may expect, there will be a number of celebrities who are close to the couple in attendance; Both the idol's parents will be at the wedding and Yoona's father will walk her down the aisle, while it is said that the SNSD members will be Yoona's bridesmaids and the members of EXO will be Jongkook's groomsmen. Other close friends including the couple's label mates, Jessi, Jay Park, Lim Heesun and SM Entertainment's founder Lee Soo-Man are tipped to attend, while Eric Nam, Amber Liu, Henry Lau and Jongkook's cousin Stephanie Soo were all spotted arriving in Seoul, South Korea, ahead of the wedding.
