Max then stood there frozen a little scared from how angry Rooster looked "He did it!" Yelled Duke. "Sorry brother" he whispered Rooster looked worried and angry at the same time. "Follow me" rooster spoke. Then max tried to get duke to follow, but rooster spoke once again. "No. Only you." Max had a little blush start to appear, but shook that feeling away. "A-Alright...hehe." So they both then started to go to the forest. "Be careful, it's steep here." Rooster exclaimed. Rooster already got up but max was having a hard time. Rooster then had a thought, huh...he looks so cute, trying to climb up. Rooster then shook his head and helped Max up. "T-thanks" he said "ya, ya, let's just hurry and find cotton." Rooster said, but smiling the tiniest bit. Once they got there through the many obstacles, they finally found cotton. "Cotton!" Yelled rooster "Max, you have to go!" Rooster said as he pushed max towards then branch above the big drop. "Why me!?" Max asked, he really didn't want to do it. "Because the branch won't hold me, it can hold you, now go!" So Max then started to to go and get cotton.....he went on the branch and started to slowly get closer, but that's when the branch started to bend. Max then looked at rooster, he wanted off immediately. "It's alright! I'm right here the branch won't break!" Rooster shouted, he himself was starting to get a little worried but didn't want to show it to max. Max then started to go more to cotton, when the branch broke more. Max tried to ignore it and finally got cotton out of the branch and out onto the ground, but that is when the branch snapped, he fell. "Aaah!" Max yelled. "Max!!!" Yelled rooster, he didn't want his Maxy getting hurt. Rooster ran to the ledge and looked down and saw max dangling on the tiniest bit of
Leftover branch that hadn't fallen with the other half. "Max! I'll get you!" Rooster then carefully went down and got Max on the normal ground where cotton was. Rooster then realized.......Max was bleeding.....
