Haiku

God has given me

the sweet nectar and the bee.

He's so good to me.

The sounds of nature

and the sight of dragonflies.

I'm glad I'm alive.

I sit in silence

and peacefully meditate,

the world slowly spins.

The day is at end.

The sun sets in crimson skies,

where gentle birds fly.

Buds of all colors

slowly drift down to the ground

and bugs laze about.

A firefly drifts,

silhouetted against red,

breathtaking beauty.

Crickets start singing,

the melodies are pleasing,

blanketing stillness.

Exhaling deeply,

locked in the moment of the

peaceful summertime.
