Sometimes Broken Families Don't Heal

The little Prince and the twins were getting ready to leave, Eladdan and Elrohir had saddled up and were now waiting for Legolas to finish saying goodbye to Aredhel.
Legolas hugged her tighter he didn't think it would be this hard to leave her, he had only knew her for such a short time yet he had loved her..as a mother as soon as he met her he would miss her very much but knew that he would see her again she kissed him on the head ''I'll miss you very much Legolas.'' ''I'll miss y-you t-t-too.''he stuttered trying to hold back tears and failed,Legolas looked so cute that the twins nearly started fan-girling. Aredhel brought his head to her chest feeling tears prickle at her eyes as well''Now,now Legolas don't let missing me ruin your very first hunting trip!''she reassured trying to bring that happy grin back to his face and succeeded. They shared one more hug and kiss then he walked towards the twins jumping up and down and smiling his cheeky,little grin he put his arms up in the air wishing to be put on his pony.Eladdan lifted him in the air and gently put him down on his pony in a exaggerated fashion ''Your pony princeling.'' he bowed and smirked, Legolas giggled. Soon they were gone Legolas waving till he could no longer see her.
The beautiful trees of Imladris tipped their branches to touch the golden head,their leaves shaked, they wished the little Prince good luck and said that they would be watching out for him and would warn him if danger approached he thanked them. Elrohir watched the exchange and shook his head and sighed ''El it just isn't fair that the trees love him the most the trees won't even acknowledge me.'' Eladdan smirked and said smugly''Neither will the the girls.'' Elrohir smacked him in the head Eladdan snickered.

A while later they stopped at a secluded area, Legolas begged them to teach him how to shoot literally down on his hands and knees crying and gave them the puppy eyes the twins couldn't resist and reluctantly agreed. The twins showed him which position to stand in and showed him how to hold his arm correctly. ''Here princeling you draw your arrow back like thi-'' Eladdan couldn't finish his sentence cause suddenly a horde of Orcs came running out of the forest! Eladdan and Elrohir subconsciously had their hands on the hilt of their swords before the Orcs even shot the first arrow. The twins started decapitating them, Eladdan was preoccupied so didn't notice when his twin was getting aimed at the Orc loosed the arrow Eladdan turning at the last minute and yelled a warning when the arrow was shot out of its course by a small white-feathered arrow he turned wild eyes to the only person the arrow could have came from it was Legolas. Standing determined rage flashing in his blue eyes then in a mili second pulled another arrow from his quiver and shot the Orc before it even knew what happened. The twins stood there gaping absolutely SHOCKED!! Never EVER in all the history of archers of Imladris had shot a Orc arrow out of the sky and successfully killed it their FIRST time handling a bow and their first battle, they were beyond shocked they were speechless they couldn't even move for a time! Legolas grinned the battle was won and HE had killed an Orc he was extremely proud of himself and toddled happily over to the mind blown Elves. The twins looked down at the golden haired elfling ''How did you do it Legolas you've never even handled a bow before!?''Elrohir asked still shocked, Legolas grinned and stated proudly ''Well i don't know i just knew dat Elwohiw was in danger and i had to save him i didn't even think bout it i just shot it.'' the twins looked at each other eyes bulging ''We have found a champion archer El he's the best i've ever seen and he's only seen three summers!''Eladdan said disbelievingly ''I agree gwador nin.'' brother he picked Legolas up ''Well princeling you could shoot down an Oliphaunt one day.'' he hugged the elfling ''I will Elohiww.''Legolas said
They mounted and continued their journey Eladdan looked at Legolas the Prince was admiring the trees and occasionally touched the leaves, then he looked at his twin ''Elrohir you know i feel like the princeling is going to be an important part of saving Middle Earth one day,'' Elrohir looked at his twin ''I was thinking the same thing.''
