jihyo left after a lot of kisses, cuddles and whispered promises, telling jisung to wait inside while she debated the last details with changbin.

''if he's still this homesick after two weeks, i'll give him back,'' changbin said in a burst of courage. ''he can keep living here and i'll just visit when i want to see him.''

''the purchase is made,'' she said with a sad smile. ''you can do whatever you want with him now. just, please be gentle.''

''don't worry,'' he gave a nod of confirmation. ''or at least try not to. i will do my best to follow in your footsteps and give him even more where i can.''

''he can be in love with you, he likes boys,'' jihyo tried to joke, her soft laugh getting more quiet over time. ''please don't break his heart.''

''he's way too precious,'' changbin chuckled softly. ''i wouldn't dare to even try.''

she gave him her private number so when called she would know it was important and changbin thanking her for it.

''don't let him eat too much,'' she warned when changbin was showing her the way out kindly. ''he doesn't really know when his tummy is full and he just eats whatever you give to him.''

''i'll keep it in mind,'' he promised, giving her a gentle hug as a goodbye. ''just call me when you want to talk to or see him.''

with a last smile and some other words of leaving, changbin went back inside.

he entered to jisung putting his plushies on the couch, covering it with some blankets as well and looking terrified when he saw changbin.

''you making a nest, bunny?'' the older wondered, jisung answering with a slow nod. ''do you want me to help?''

''o-oh, you don't have to,'' jisung denied, his ears hanging heavy when they didn't hide his sadness quite as well as his face. ''i can do it myself!''

''sure, bub?'' changbin asked for confirmation, cocking his head to the side.

jisung hummed, biting his bottom lip to hold back his tears. ''it's fine.''

changbin didn't really know what to do to make him feel better, sighing softly as he watched jisung's hands shake while he kept pushing and pulling at the material.

he snapped his gaze up to changbin, bottom lip wobbling as his eyes were glassy. ''please help,'' he begged. ''i-it's not good enough.''

''what do you think is wrong about it, baby?'' the older asked, looking over the nest and watching how small jisung was as he sat in it. ''can you tell me? maybe i can fix it for you.''

jisung whimpered and crawled forward, hanging onto him and pushing his face against his stomach.

in mere seconds, he had his hands tangled in his hair. ''oh, poor thing,'' he shushed, massaging his scalp but it wasn't the same. ''why are you so sad, hm?''

''feel all fuzzy,'' jisung mumbled, breathing in the warm campfire scent and relying on it to calm him down. ''n everything's all wrong. 's too much.''

''do you wanna take a nap with me?'' changbin suggested, careful not to touch his ears when he wasn't sure how the bunny would feel about that at the moment. ''we can get all cuddled up and warm and we can worry about your nest after.''

''okay,'' the younger agreed, words still muffled by changbin's sweater. ''c-can bunny wear master changbin's clothes? will help getting settled.''

changbin pulled the sweater over his head even if that wasn't what jisung had meant and helped him put it on over his shirt. ''is that good enough?"

jisung raised it to his nose, sniffing and smiling at the scent enveloping him. ''thank you.''
