Lunch with distractions

Kathir sits up in bed unhappily. He is disappointed that mullas parents have returned so soon before they had a chance to finish what they started.

Mulla comes in and he looks up expectantly. She is looking a little angry though.

M mindvoice- Onume nadakatha mathiri nalla thungi ethirchu okarthirkaru. Na oru loosu ivahala varanum nu ethirparthen paaru.

M- Sapada Vaanga. Appa amma vantachu..

K- Hmm.. Attachi kelambitangala?

M- Ipathan kelambinaha..
She pauses and thinks.

M-Avaha vanthathu ungalukku theriyuma? Thugitu thane irunthiha?

K- Athu avaha vantha odane than paduthen. Avanga kita vai kudhatha matikuvom nu therijuthan.. 

M irritated- Oh apa enaya thaniya kothuvitutu neega nimathiya irutheha Apidi thane?

K-  Ayo Apidi ila. Nee avanga kuda nalla pesuvaila. Enaku than avangloda set aagathu.. Nee avahala anupchutu inga varuven nu neichen..

M- Ama yar kuda than set aagumo? Appa kuda pesa matiha, amma kita kekavevenam. Ipa ivhaltayum pesala. Etho seiga. Vanga sapada. Appa waitpanraru

She walks out. And kathir follows. Murugan is waiting in hall.

Murugan- Mappila okarunga. Mulla neeyum okaruma. Parvathyku konjam mudila nu poi paduthuta. Neega thapa neikathiha.

K- Athelam onum ila mama. Neega Sapdala..

Murugan- Konja neram potum mapla. Ipa pasiilla.

They both sit to eat and murugan tries to serve.

M- Appa nan potukaren neega Ukarunga.

Kathir keeps constantly staring at Mulla during lunch. He is unable to concentrate on his food.

K mindvoice- Iva ena roomla onume nadakatha mathri nadathukara.

M mindvoice- Pakarthula matom onum korachalilla.

Murugan- Mappilaku ena venum nu ketu podu ma. Avar seriyave sapadla paaru.. Avaruku ena pudikuma atha podu.

K in a a soft voice so murugan doesn't hear- Mulla ena kuduthalum enaku pudikum mama.

M murmering- Ena venumo atha onu ketu vanganum ila thane edukathum. Epavume ena ethirpatha Eppidi?

K mindvoice- Iva en ivlo Kovama Iruka? Nyama patha nama thane Kovama irukanum. Iva thana pathila thalli vitutu odina. Nama ena thapu panom.

Murugan notices that they are talking to each other in soft voices and exchanging glances. He feels that he should leave them alone.

Kathir and mulla look at each other.

K- En mela Ethavathu Kovama?

M snapping- Athelam onum ila..

After lunch kathir is unsure of what  Mulla is serving her father food. She called him in to talk to her father but kathir refused unsure of what to say. So he sits waiting in the hall for her. When she doesn't come out for sometime he gets irritated. He goes in and finds mulla sitting and talking with murugan. He looks at her indignantly.

K mindvoice- Evlo tharva sonen kudve iru nu.

She looks back equally irritated.

M mindvoice- Appa kuda oru 2 nimisham kuda pesamatahala??

K- Mama na konjam kada varikum poitu vanthuren.

Murugan surprised- Seri mapla.. neega moonu naal poga matinga nu Mulla sonna.

K looking at mulla- Po vendamnu than neichen ana...

M- Pohatum Vidunga pa. Avaruku kada than romba mukiyam. Night nerathuku sapda vara solunga.

K- Vanthuren mama.
And leaves.

Murugan- Unakum avarukum Ethavathu perchanaya ma. Seriya pesika matengariha??

M- Onu ila pa. Avaru ipa kuda kadaiku ponum nu solrare nu kovam Avlo than. Neega viduga.
