"say it"

contains : IW & EG , Tony's death and a
depressed Peter.

dis will be based on a Japanese song
called "itte" by Yorushika. tho I'll be
using the english cover of Will Stetson.

I will be explaining the meaning of the
song and it's title at the end of the story
later , have fun reading.

Peter's pov
.

"-for the talents day?"

"Peter??" my thoughts were cut off by
my best friend , who's holding both of
my shoulders and shaking me "y-yes?"
I asked as I put both of my hands on his
wrist to stop him from shaking me

"dude... I asked you if you already have
something to perform for talents day..."
he said with a sigh

"I- uh sorry I was just- wait what!? There'll
be a talents day??" I yelled wide eyed , Ned
facepalmed and looks at MJ for help

"weren't you listening to the teacher?" MJ
asked not even bothering to take her eyes
off her crisis notebook

"I wasnt...sorry" I mumbled

"the Talents day will be on friday , you can
bring your Aunt May or anyone if you want
make sure you have something to perform"
MJ said as if she was ordering me

I just nod and starred falling in another deep thought again

it's been almost a month. A month has
already passed since we defeated Thanos.
and a month since Mr.Stark died.

After what happened , everything became
normal again , people were happy again.
Sometimes I stare at people and wonder
how can they act normal after everything
that happened.

everyone has already moved on.

Except for me.

I couldn't sleep everynight , I was scared
that I'm going to end up dreaming about
him and his death.

I always cry every night , thinking about
'what ifs' and regretting about the things
I did and didn't.

I still can't accept the fact he's really gone ,
and I still wake up everyday with my heart
filled with guilt

it was finally Friday and thank god I finally
know what I'll be performing. I'll be singing
a song. A song I found in YT last night.

"hey Peter!" I turned around and saw Ned
and MJ , they were both wearing formal
outfits while I was just wearing a hoodie
while carrying my guitar behind me.

"you guys look great" I told them "thanks
Peter , What are you going to perform?" MJ
asked "I'll be singing a song" I told them ,

"for Mr.Stark" I added and Ned made an 'oh
sound "that's great them.. I'm excited to hear it" Ned said with a genuine smile , I gave him a small smile as a thanks and we
sat and waited for our turns

I stood up and looked at Ned and MJ who
both gave me a hug and a thumbs up as a
goodluck

I sat on a wooden chair and fixed the mic ,
"hey uh...so I'll be singing a song for my
father figure and mentor who saved the
world and left." I said with a smile and started playing the guitar

"speak now" I said and started strumming the guitar again "so you know? only now..
all those things that you said , Perchance
there's something more that they meant"

"and you know? How I tried my best to not
think of them at all , The words were hard
to recall"

"without a thought I carry on in daydream
and in song , Im brash I know but even so I
walk along in this life with nowhere to go"

"and when I reach my final day , this life
slowly burning away , surely I'll regret all
the words I couldn't say.. ahh" I sang as
tears starts to well up from my eyes

do you remember me? I was the kid that
you saved from a robot. I couldn't tell you
because I didn't had the chance...

"Even there on my final day , I know I'll still call your name , once more , once more...

you'll always be my mentor , my father figure and hero.

"more now , no doubt , speak out."

then I started strumming the guitar again ,
I looked around and see aunt May with
Hawkeye and Captain America.

I was confused as to why they were here
But I continued on singing anways.

"so you know?.. through I try I cant find
the words saying why that blue hue had
filled up the sky."

"or you know , what to say to all small
little lights ,that shine through the clouds
up in the night , speak now."

I then started playing the guitar again
preparing for my favourite part ,

"so you know.. I'll confess in truth I had
known long ago, that you had gone and left
me alone.." I sang with a small sad smile

"but you know...im the kind of fool who
would just let it go and not let the pain
ever show."

I've been forcing myself to just accept
that you really are gone and will never
come back.

"really cleary Ill say it , make a note and I'll
repay it , let's arrange that we'll meet in the
heat of the day , just take me with you.."

"and when I reach my final day , just once

"im sure there on my final day Ill sing this song full of love and you'll smile and tell me that I finally did enough.. yeah"

after I finished singing , everyone clapped
and some stood up (including Aunt May ,
Hawkeye and Captain)

I left the stage and ran towards Aunt May
and starts crying on her shoulder

this song is actually about someone
losing a friend who committed suicide.

I know it's confusing so here's an explanation because it's 3 am and I've
nothing to do

so Peter is still upset about Tony's death
and he keeps on blaming his self , telling
his self that he could've do something to
prevent his mentor's death.

so ye , Peter was depressed because of
Tony dying. But then he found this cool
but sad song by Yorushika in YT.

: D *sips bleach* this idea looked so cool
