Katie Holt the girl who became Pidge Gunderson to find her family. The girl who became the green Paladin of Voltron. 

She didnt have an easy life, she was always bullies and teased becuase of how smart she was or by how short she was. But her biggest reason for being bullied was because of her left eye. 

Her left eye was bright Green, a nice summer grass green. 

It creeped others out and made some people attack her thinking she was cursed or a demon. 

She even spook her family sometimes, it didnt help how it glowed slightly in the dark making her green eye the only thing others could see in the dark.

Her brother gave her his glasses when he got a new pair, he hoped to help his sister live a happier life without her eye getting in the way. The glasses worked since they hid her eyes slightly but her eye was still noticeable. 

Pidge learned to be a loner thanks to her eye becuase the only ones who ever kind to her was her parents but manly her brother. So when her father and brother was taken, life got even worse for her. Her mother blamed her daughter cursed eye and became cold towards her daughter. Pidge knew she needed to find her family and bring them back, fix her broken family no matter what. Even if it kills her but then again maybe her family would be free from such a cursed child if she didnt return. 

Pidge shook her thoughts away as she walked the long dark halls of the castle in the middle of the night. She was going to get some water and head back to bed. She notice whispering and with bad experiences she decided to check it out before she falls into a trap. She turned a corner, seeing Hunk and Lance chatting away. An altean torch ball in hunk hand, most likely becuase the lights wouldn't come on. 

She notice them turn towards her direction making her wave but thanks to her being in the dark hall all they say was something green glowing and slowly coming towards them. The two teens screamed in face as she quicken her pace hoping to catch up with them quicker. A frown filled her lips and hurt filled her eyes. She duck as Lance grabbed the light ball throwing it towards her in hopes of hitting whatever creature they thought was coming at them. She closed her left eye, picking up the ball and returning it to them as they clam down after seeing pidge.

"its the eye, sorry" She mutter and look to the ground, footsteps rushing towards them as the castle hall lights turned on showing the three. Lance and Hunk still shaken up while pidge stood looking to the ground, her hand over her eye. 

"what happened" Keith groaned since he was woken up by the girlish screams. 

"Its my fault, I spooked them" Pidge sighed and Shiro turned to her with worry. 

"are you ok" Shiro asked as he stayed looking at her.

"No, we thought we were going to die" Lance cried out.

"oh man, that was really scary" Hunk mutter as he calm his breathing.

"sorry guys" Pidge weakly smiled and started walking to the kitchen.

"oh no, do you think we hurt her feelings. I mean she didnt mean to scare us we just forgot about her creepy eye" Hunk mumbled with worry.

"Oh right pidge eye glows in the dark, yeah that spook me a couple times at night in the past" Keith sighed and rubbed his neck. 

"Pidge is cool and all but that scared me" Lance frowned. 

"why dont you all go back to bed, I'm going to get some water" Shiro replied to the three before walking towards the kitchen knowing pidge would be inside. 

Shiro reached the kitchen and found pidge holding a small glass of water just staring at her reflection before covering her green eye. 

"you ok" Shiro asked as he walked over, he notice he made her jump slightly.

"yeah it just sometimes" She started to say but stopped herself.

"Dont feel so bad, Lance and Shiro are easily scared at night" Shiro smiled and got himself some water.

"i scare everyone with my eye" Pidge huffed and Shiro frowned.

"I think its beautiful" Shiro smiled gentle and glanced to her noticing her turn to him in surprise.

"but its creepy" pidge replied with slight hate.

"not to me, so please dont cover it up" Shiro softly smiled and took her hand, pulling it away from her green eye. He looked at her hazel and green eye with his shining grey ones.

"why are you so nice to me" Pidge asked confused.

"because i know you, the real you not the one others might see" Shiro replied not letting go of her hand. 

"why dont you fear my eye like everyone else" Pidge asked with worry.

"becuase i think your eyes are beautiful, both of them. They might be slightly different but I think they fit you perfectly" Shiro explained with a gentle smile, noticing a blush form on the shorter paladin cheeks. 

"thank you" Pidge smiled sweetly. 

"its the truth" Shiro smiled and just looked at her.
