Loving Myself

I stood in front of the mirror,
Locking eyes with the girl in it.

Looking at her midnight black eyes,
I remember how beautiful the night is.

The tendrils of hair hiding her face,
Just felt like clouds hiding the sun.

Her straight pose and sharp gaze,
Made me look at her in amazement.

People might think she's ugly,
But for her, she's beautiful, inside out.

She needs no man to hold her hand,
Cause she can stand tall without any help.

She doesn't need anyone to love her,
Her love for herself is more than enough.
