"Warp coin test number fourteen."

Radley tossed the warp coin to the ground and watched it flicker to life. A yellow glow covered the lab. "Portal is holding steady." He spoke slowly and evenly. When the portal didn't flicker or explode, he grabbed a screw from his pocket and tossed it into the portal. It fizzled, then exploded into nothing but a spark. "Artificial matter test failed."

"So if I go through that I'll explode." Radlynn murmured. She sat on Radley's desk, legs folded. Radley smirked a bit as he walked over and carefully turned off the warp coin.

"Not really explode, more your body would be ripped to shreds and scattered across the universe, potentially causing a black hole in the process." He replied.

"Oh gee, fun." Radlynn said. Radley snickered and set the warp coin on his desk. He sat down and adjusted his glasses. Radlynn tilted her head at him. "It's getting late y'know," she began. Radley looked over at her. "Why don't you stop working for the day?"

Radley looked her over, then sat up in his chair. He arched a brow at her. "...what're you after?" He asked. Radlynn laughed.

"Do I have to want something to make you stop working?" She countered. Radley pursed his lips.

"I suppose not." He replied. "But I still need to work."

Radlynn eyed him for a few seconds, then shifted her position on the table. She got on her hands and knees and crawled across it. She sat down right in front of Radley and swung her legs off the edge again. Radley stared up at her in surprise.

"Still gonna work?" She asked, grinning. Radley looked flustered and unsure of how to react. Radlynn's grin grew as she realised she'd outsmarted him. "If you want me to move you'll have to move me yourself."

Radley huffed. "Really?"

"Really."

"...this is childish." He muttered, crossing his arms. He glanced away from her. Radlynn laughed.

"You're the one sulking." She retorted. Radley glared at her.

"I do not sulk-"

"Yes you do."

Radley glared at her in silence for a few moments, then stood up. He sighed. "Fine." Radlynn smirked. She stood up off the desk and grabbed the radish man's hand. She tugged him.

"Good. I'll make dinner for you." She said. Radley smiled a bit and squeezed her hand. He rubbed the back of it with his thumb and let her drag him out of the lab.
