Background: Mystik was once a big daddy in the city of Rapture. After losing his little sister to the splicers, he was exiled from Rapture and wondered through the kingdoms looking for a new purpose until he was found by Ozpin and offered a place at Beacon as a security guard for the students. He happily agreed as he finally found a new purpose to protect children from monsters and will never fail again.

Background: Slayer was once a soldier who had a family. One day he came home to find his wife, infant son and pet bunny devoured by a pack of Beowolves. After killing the Grimm and having his vocal cords ripped out, he set out on a mission to rid the world of Grimm until he was found by Ozpin and offered a place at Beacon. He agreed and became an enforcer at Beacon where he met and befriended Mystik.
Together, Mystik and Slayer have been offered a chance to be Y/N's guardians and will make sure that no harm ever comes to the boy.
