I would've liked to get this out earlier- but ya know, I've been a tad busy. But here it is!
Also. I'm beginning it when Hope comes back to the Salvatore School.....
Seeing the Salvatore School once again brought welling tears to my eyes, and a wave of emotions.
Nobody remembers me, and never will.
Even Lizzie had no memories.
I was emailed the other day from Dr Saltzman, telling me to come to the Salvatore School. I told him my name was "Hope Marshall", hoping for a cover. If not forever, then at least for now. When I made it to the front doors, I rolled my suitcase behind me. All of my other stuff was back in the van- to collect later when I wanted to decorate. Somehow, juggling two boxes on top of each other was collectively taller then me -not that that's hard to achieve-, a student opened the door, jolting backwards in a bit of a alarm.
"Oh my god- sorry!" It was a Females voice. I didn't recognise it exactly, but that was before she asked if I needed some help. She took the top box off, which revealed view of her face. She had light brown skin, and shoulder length black hair that curled like I've never seen before. It was pulled back into a half up, half down look.
"Thanks." I said to her, giving her a small nod, as she stepped aside to let me in first. The sight that greeted me put a cheesy smile on my face.
However, there was no magic, no witches on the ceiling, even the vamps were chatting happily to the wolf packs. I raised a eyebrow- something had totally changed since I'd been away.
"Wow- it's all changed so much."
I didn't realise that I had spat that out loud with a quiet tone until the taller girl behind me adjusted the boxes in her arms."Been here before have you?" She assumed.
"Oh, no." I shook my head, tilting my head towards her. "My uh- my sister attended this school once. She used to come home every summer, and tell me all these stories about how much she loved this place." I explained, hoping like hell she bought it.The girl just bit her lip lightly, and gave me a nod.
"She sounds like a inspiration. Not like my dummy of a brother then." She gave me eye roll, before nudging me gently- but I somehow ended up almost toppling over, managing to gain my balance on one leg.I scoffed, shaking my head to the side to get a piece of my hair out of my mouth.
"Yeah ok- sorry." She apologised, with a shrug. Hearing a sudden noise come from her mouth, I assumed someone had interrupted her.
"You must be Hope Marshall." A older woman greeted. She had a significant British accent, and thick coal coloured hair.
Emma."Yeah, that's me." I replied, giving her a small nod. She gave me a smile before switching her attention to the girl beside me. "Maya- why don't you help Hope with the boxes, and then you are welcome to go back down to Mystic Falls High." She explained
Ohh, that's why everyone was so normal. It was beginning to give me chills anyway-"I hope you settle in well, Hope. I'm sure you'll do fine I'm Emma, by the way." Emma said lastly, placing a pamphlet on top of the cardboard box I still clutched with dear life. "In that information booklet, it has everything you need to know. Your classes will begin on Monday- so you have the weekend to get used to the place."
Giving her a slight smile, I glanced towards Maya, who had clear desperation to escape the conversation in her eyes."Thank you, I'm sure Maya and I can take it from here."
"Of course. Prehaps I'll see you at Dinner- 6pm in the dinning hall." She cleared her throat, before giving a dismissed wave, and swiftly walking past us, parading out the front door.
