16. Gender Reveal Party

This afternoon me and Jinyoung are having a gender reveal party for our baby girl to reveal to everyone that we are having a girl. My sister knows the gender as I've asked her to make a cake filled with pink smarties. When we cut into it, the smarties will fall out. It looks delicious. My sister is a really talented baker. We can't wait to reveal the gender of our baby to our friends and family soon. Everyone is gathered in our backyard having fun, talking and socialising. The cake is already outstanding on the table waiting to be cut. It's half blue and half pink and will be pink smarties on the inside when we cut into it. We are going to do it very soon as everyone is eager and excited to find out the gender of our little one. We attract everyone's attention by Jinyoung tapping on a glass. "Now, ladies and gentlemen. Me and my beautiful wife will do a gender reveal" he said. "Yes we will. Will our baby be a boy or a girl?" I say. "Yes. So we have a knife and we are going to cut into it" Jinyoung said. I place my hand on Jinyoung's hand and we both cut into the cake together. "Are you ready? 3, 2, 1?" He said. We cut into the cake together and remove the slice and pink smarties come falling out. "Pink. It's a girl" Jinyoung and I exclaim together. "We are having a little girl. Yay! I'm so happy" Jinyoung said. "Me too" I reply. He kisses me in front of everyone. Our gender reveal party went so well today and everyone was really happy to know we are having a girl

Today BamBam and I have invited my family over to my place. We are going to tell them that we are expecting a baby boy. We are going to give my parents a little box with a blue teddy bear inside that says 'It's a boy'. Can't wait to tell them soon. We are in the lounge chilling and talking to my family. They are really happy that he and BamBam are having a baby but they'll be sad when I go to Korea with BamBam soon but they understand why of course. They will be throwing me a going away party. We are going to do the reveal soon. "I can't believe you'll be going to Korea soon. We are all going to miss you so much" my mum said. "I know but I'll call you everyday" I reply. "I know you will" she said. In a bit, BamBam brings in the box that we are going to give my parents. "A little something for you" BamBam said. "Thank you. Awww" mum said. My parents open up the box and sees the teddy bear. "You're having a boy" my dad said. "Awwww that's wonderful news" mum said. "I'm going to have a grandson" dad said. "I hope we get to see him" my sister said. "Don't worry you will. I can fly you out" I reply. "Of course you'll see him. We'll make sure you do" BamBam said. "I'm so excited. Awwww I'm so happy for you" mum said giving us a great big hug. It was great having my family over today and they loved how we revealed the gender of our baby to them. We are having a boy

Jackson and I can't wait to reveal the gender of our baby to our friends, family and the boys of course today. We have a big balloon filled with pink confetti. We are going to pop it and the confetti will fly out everywhere. Everyone is really excited to find out the gender of our baby so we are going to reveal it now. Everyone thinks we are having a boy though. Haha I don't know how that can guess. Even all the boys think we are having a boy part from BamBam. He thinks it's a girl which he's right. Everyone is gathered in the lounge when Jackson brings in the big balloon filled with confetti. "Ohhhh it's time" Yugyeom said. "Let's see if you're having a boy" Youngjae said. "Ohhhh I can't wait" Jackson's Mom said excitedly. "Well you're about to find out now...." Jackson said suddenly popping the balloon. "You wasn't supposed to do that yet" I say. "Sorry" he laughs. "As you can tell it's a girl" I say. "Yay! A girl. See I told you, guys" BamBam said. "Okay you win" Jinyoung said. "Dang. We thought it was a boy but congratulations on your little girl" Jaebeom said. "Yeah we can't wait to meet her" Mark said. Confetti was all over the place. It's gonna take us a while to tidy it up when everyone's gone but it's okay for now. The party continued for a bit longer and everyone congratulated us on everything and having a baby girl
