Frank sat down at the dinner table with his two unnamed soon-to-be parents.
He smushed his creamy mashed potatoes all around with his peas, his cliché whirlwind of thoughts spin spin spinning in his his head.
Suddenly, one of his parents stood up.
"Hello Frank, I apologize for not introducing myself sooner. I am Steve, and this is your mother Alex"
He knew it! He had recognized Alex from a magazine cover about popular video games, but this was the real deal!
In real life her figure was less blocky... More curvy and elegant. Her tender hands gripped the fork so hard yet so gently at the same time. Her knuckles were white with strain, her brown eyes sparkling mischievously. She glanced up, only to see Frank staring back at her through the tiny holes in his tiger mask.
"Frank,"
She whispered softly, almost silently.
"Can you pass me the salt?"
Frank obliged her wishes. After all, he didn't want her to think he was disobedient in any way, did he?
After dinner was eaten and the dishes were washed Frank and Steve sat down and had a little heart to heart.
