Jack's POV

I stumbled off of the couch and slowly felt the feeling come back to my body. Every time Anti takes over my body, it always takes me a few minutes to fully regain control. It's extremely annoying. As I stood up, I saw a bolt of blue light enter the room. Becca stood in front of me, but it wasn't Becca. She had bright, blue eyes and hair, and a wild, yet kind smile.

Ob's POV

"Seán William McLoughlin," I said. "We meet at last."

I stretched out my hand. Jack slowly shook it, giving me a wary glance.

"First off, I want to say thank you," I said.

"Fer what?" he asked.

"For helping me help Becca get through what's been happening to her these past couple of weeks. It honestly gets a bit overwhelming having to look out for her on my own, so, again, thank you for everything." My smile was now one that showed how grateful I was.

"Anyways, let's get down to business," I said. "I'm Obsidian, Becca's demon. You wanted to talk to me for five minutes, if I remember correctly."

"I... guess I did," Jack said slowly. "How long have ya an' Becca known each other?"

"All our lives," I answered. "How long have you known Anti?"

"All- wait. Since when are ya askin' the questions?" he asked.

"Shouldn't I get to know if you get to know me?" I responded, chuckling. "Now answer the question, silly."

Jack's POV

"Same as you. All my life," I answered. I was slightly taken aback by Obsidian. She wasn't like Anti. She seemed more... comfortable in Becca's body. More confident. Maybe they had some trick that allowed them to live together peacefully. Note to self: Ask Becca how she and Obsidian easily share a body.

"Noted," Anti said.

"Not a note to you, Anti," I retorted.

"Actually, why don't ya just ask Obsidian that question?"

Ob's POV

"So Obsidian-" Jack started.

"Call me Ob," I interrupted.

Becca: The way this chapter was written was certainly interesting.

Ob: Indeed.

"...Okay, Ob," Jack said. "How are ya comfortable in Becca's body?"

"You're actually the first person who's asked me that," I remarked. "One day, when Becca and I were younger, I think at around the age of four, we got lost on our way home from school. We were attacked by a group of bad men. I managed to fend them off, but I also made Becca a promise. I promised her that I would not only look out for her, but also that I would just be there for her. I sorta took up the role of older sister, even though Becca and I were born on the exact same day, at the exact same time. A couple years later, I convinced our mom, who knew of my existence, to sign us up for karate lessons, and since then, we've learned quite a lot. We've also incorporated dancing into our fighting style. Besides, who says you can't defend yourself and not be graceful while doing it?"

"That's another thing I wanted ta ask ya. Once, l saw Becca dancin' an' her shadow
was wearin' a different outfit than she was, an' Anti calls ya 'Shadow-dancer'. I'm guessin' that's why, but how are ya able ta do that?" he asked.

"I don't know," I answered. "We've always been able to do it. We're pretty sure that it's one of my powers. Doesn't Anti have any weird powers?"

Jack's POV

"The only ones I can think of are glitchin' an' manipulatin' technology," I muttered. Even when we were kids, Anti only had actual powers during October, but he can glitch anytime he wants to. The intensity of his glitches depends on his mood.

Ob's POV

I shrugged and sat down on the couch. I suddenly got a massive headache. I gave control back to Becca, casually "walking" past her into the back of our mind and grabbing a bowl of popcorn since she always lets me see and hear everything. What? I have a bit of a sweet tooth, okay? I had designed the place reserved for me to look like a personal theater room, with the multiple Samsung 4K screens that show me what Becca sees. Jack sat down next to us and patted us on the back, trying to make it easier for Becca to come back. Our body went slack for a second, but when Becca opened her eyes, they were their normal blue-gray hue.

Jack's POV

"Did Ob burn anything down?" Becca asked.

"No," I replied. Was that something that could have happened?

"Good," she said. Becca sat up straight. "Anti's a real piece of work, isn't he?"

"That's one way ta put it," I muttered. We were silent for a few minutes. Eventually, Becca started to stand.

"I'm gonna order a pizza," Becca said. "Ob taking over takes a lot of energy out of me. We're still trying to figure out how she can take control without taking energy from me. Want some?"

"Ya seriously hafta ask if I want pizza?" I jokingly asked. "I thought ya knew me."

She laughed and went to grab the phone. That night I started seeing Becca differently. She faced Anti, let her demon, who I had gained a new sense of respect for, take control of her body, and then went to order a pizza. She acted like nothing abnormal has happened in the last few hours. I couldn't help but wonder what her life must have been like before if this was considered normal.

Author: So, one of the changes I made was a POV change between Jack and Ob.

Becca: And don't forget to absolutely mash that star!

Ob: And while you're at it, recommend this story to as many of your friends as you can.
