My Inner Oracle

There are days when I'm without her

That seem will never end

When at last we are together

We share and not just lend

It only happens in my mind

But it's in those moments that I find

A reason that, at least for me,

Was how and why I came to be

Naught else mattered, not goods nor gold

Just a tale of two lovers whose story told

That simplicity we did not ignore

And that life wasn't about having more

It's not about how much we spent

But in the end were we content

We turned away from the quest for possessions

And looked to our hearts for life lessons

Sought something really worth achieving

We strove instead for a life of well being

When I wake and once again she's gone

I'm grateful for those wondrous moments won
