2- Loss

"How are you so fast!?" Isabel asks.

"She's had practice for years remember" levi stated.

"So have you, I let you have a go on my ODM gear that I stole " I say laughing.

"Yeah yeah whatever" he says rolling his eyes.

We all walked to the mess hall for lunch, and we ended up receiving letters from loved ones.

Your letter:

Dear Y/n,

I've been missing you so so soooo much but I know you have been working hard to protect us. Me and the family are okay over here don't worry they are treating me well and I can't wait for you to graduate.
Do you have a boyfriend yet?
Is he hot?
Is your Boyfriend LEVI!?
I knew you two would get together eventually. Hehe please don't kill me for that.

Anyway I hope you are well I hope to hear from you soon!

I giggle to myself, "She's such a weirdo" I say.

"At least you got letters" Levi said.

I noticed he didn't receive one. Shit. I sit down next to Levi and rub his back and he rests his head on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry Levi" I say.

"It's not your fault" he sighs.

We all eat our food, Levi was still a bit sad but I comforted him, I mean it's what he would do for me if I was sad. Right?

{ Two years later (I'm lazy I'm sorry) }

Me and the group were on an expedition and it began raining really heavily. Levi left our squad to go after Erwin and I stayed with Isabel and Farlan. Everything was fine until we heard a roar in the distance.

"This isn't good" Isabel states.

"What if Levi is-" Farlan says.

"Levi will be fine, he's a strong fighter" I reply.

"Just tell him you love him already Y/n" Isabel says.

"What! I do not!" I shout

Isabel and Farlan laugh at me.

"Yeah yeah laugh all you want!" I say.

BOOM! (Great sound effects by me 😌✌🏼)

A huge titan appears in front of us, our horses get spooked and throw us off, leaving us on the floor.

"It's an abnormal!" I shout

Me, Farlan and Isabel go to kill it, but this titan was fast. Too fast for us.......

"ISABEL!" Farlan shouts.

Isabel......she........no.....

Me and Farlan charge at the titan to avenge Isabel, she was my best friend, I can't believe it.
I'm attacking the nape whilst Farlan was trying to blind it. The titan swung its hand behind and hit me, making me crash into hard.

"FARLAN WATCH OUT!" I scream.

It was too late, the titan got hold of him, I couldn't move. I couldn't save him.......
The titan held him in his mouth, I saw the blood running out of its mouth. I cry knowing I can't help him.

I hear a horse coming near and I faint.

Levis POV

I rode back to Isabel, Farlan and Y/n as fast as I could as soon as I noticed that a titan slipped past me.

I got there and I saw Isabel and Farlan....... dead. I look around for Y/n I couldn't find her, I assumed she was swallowed by that titan.

I grip my blades tight and I let my anger explode. I was slicing and cutting the titan until it fell and I cut its nape. The titan came crashing down.

I stood there crying. I lost my best friends, my family......

I lost hope.

"L-l-levi" I heard someone say.
I look around in search of who was calling me.

Your POV

I woke up from fainting and I saw Levi....crying.

"L-l-levi" I cry, hoping he heard me.

I saw that he began looking around.

"Levi, over here" I say as loudly as I could.

He turned my way and spotted me.

"Omg Y/n" he said whilst running to me crying. He picked me and and took me onto his horse and I saw everyone else from the Survey corps arrive to our location.

We began riding back home and I was on Levi's horse, I was sat in front of him while he held onto me tight.

"I'm- I'm sorry " I say bursting into tears.

"For what?" He asks

"I-I couldn't save them, I tried and I-" Levi put his finger on my lips.

"This isn't your fault Y/n, please don't blame yourself" he said with tears in his eyes.

{ HQ }

We all arrived back here and I was taken to the nurse, turns out I had a broken arm and a badly fractured ankle. So that's why I couldn't move.

After getting it all fixed I went back to my room. It was weird, I saw Isabels bed all made up with all of her stuff in there too. I start to tear up. "Why didn't I save you?" I whisper to myself.

"It's not your fault" I hear from behind me. I knew it was Levi but I didn't look.

I sighed and started crying. I felt a pair of hands hug me from behind, Levi rested his head on my shoulder.

"They passed in honor, they said they would do anything to kill the titan even if it meant dying" Levi said holding back his tears to try and comfort me.

"We should probably head to sleep it's been a long day."

"Yeah" I say

Levi grabs my hand and takes me to his room, he shared a room with Farlan.

I know he's hurting and I hate it that he's hiding it.

"Levi you don't need to hide your emotions from me" as I said that Levi burst into tears.

"I should've been there " he whimpered.

I hug him tight. "Lay down Levi you need sleep" I say wiping his tears away.

He sniffles and gets in bed. "Can you please stay with me Y/n?" He asks. I nod and lay next to him and fall asleep.
