Opinion of total drama couples/characters in all seasons

Brody and MaCarthur

Another ridonculous couple, that wasn't exactly canon, but people still shipped these two together. MaCarthur is my favorite character during season 7, and Brody...he's interesting especially with how similar his personality is to Geoff besides being a little less intelligent. 

At first I thought these two could make a good couple, but after watching the season a couple of times I've seen it's another one sided relationship who didn't have much screen time to really make an argument about them being good for one another.

Brody is a surfer guy who's very carefree, free spirited, and sort of a pushover while MaCarthur is irrational, loud, bold, and in your face. They just don't have anything in common at all. The surfer dudes have a few alliances throughout the game one being with the cadets. In Australia while getting rabbits MaCathur could have easily gotten rabbits for her team, but instead got enough for both to stay in the game. Brody has it bad for MaCarthur and even though she says "I'm only attracted to people who are as hot as me" I don't think she really liked Brody that way. To me I think she felt flattered that Brody had a crush on her as I quote "It's not Brody's fault he's crushing on me. Doctors say my pheromones are as strong as a jet engine built by grizzly bears." The only really flirtatious thing she says to Brody is when she compliments him on his "beefy thighs" when he managed to stay on the bull for the amount of time they needed too. Sure MaCarthur thought "Brody was hotsauce and cut-offs" but after seeing the gut he put on after being depressed about being kicked off the game and not making a move on her. Poor guy since he was crushing on her big time, and she seemed to care for was looks. Brody shows he cares for MaCarthur from thinking she fell into a lake with the tractor in Australia, trying to get her attention by riding the bull to try and impress her, hoping MaCarthur will be able to "go on" without him once they are eliminated, going to save MaCarthur from the Kimodo dragons even though they failed, getting drool for both teams, offering her a bite of a burrito, and building a sand sculpture of her as they get the phone call to come back onto the show. In the alternate ending where the surfer dudes win MaCarthur tells Brody to call her, but when the cadets win well it was all about the cash nothing else.

It was cute seeing Brody go all gaga over her, but these two just wouldn't happen at all. I can see Brody with Kitty due to their similar personalities, and few interests they have in common from what we see during the season.
