It's really a bad idea for Gulf to come along with his grandfather to make some research over the existence of the small group of ancient people that might still exist in certain place. Now, they reached the Tharn forest far from the other country and million miles far from other islands.

It's been 4 hours Gulf walked in the forest following the elder in front of him and some of the others walked behind him. "Let's take a break here." the old man voice out. "We will continue after 2 hours break. You can go find the wood to make the firewood but don't go too far." the head of the troop said, giving a command.

"I regret this grandpa.. I thought there will be a rainfall or something refreshing but I just get the mosquitoes and heavy stuff on my back. And also don't forget the demanding people." Gulf said complaining to his grandfather while they are looking for some woods.

"We only reached a peak.. Of course there are no rainfall. Wait until we reach the top. We will find the ancient people too." Grandpa smiled at his grumpy grandson.

"Urgh.. Whatever.. You look so calm grandpa and that piss me off." Gulf managed to glare at his elder and keep looking for the woods.

As Gulf focus picking up the good woods, he already walked deeper into the dark forest. "Grandpa?" Gulf called. "Grandpa? Where are you?" he called out again more louder but no one heard him. "Oh shit , I'm in trouble here." Realized that he was far from the troop, Gulf tried to searched the way back himself. Unfortunately, he leads himself a lot deeper into the forest far from the others.

Gulf was panicked, at the point he might cry like a little kid. Suddenly, he heard the sounds from the bushes, moving so fast, here and forth around him but can't be seen. Slowly the shadow from the bushes appeared in front of him make him froze in shocked. It was a leopard.

But Gulf brave enough to turn around and run as fast as he could to hold his dear life, knowing he can't escape from the leopard. The leopard was behind him keeping it's eyes on the prey. It's already 5 minutes and Gulf can't hold his breath. His steps become slower and the leopard become much closer to him. But his flexibility kicking in. He split before the leopard could grab his body and continue to run again but he stumbled upon the root. The leopard succeeds catching him and Gulf just can clench his fist and shut his eyes closely. "I love you grandpa." Gulf said sadly, crying over his fate eating by the leopard.
