Y/n pov

You did work around the house, helping out and growing more comfortable, your nightmares were still prominent, but most nights Sirius or Remus would make sure you were okay, the only reason they knew is because you'd wake up screaming in pain, you could still feel it even just from the nightmares. But they'd both be there, unless Remus was sent on a mission or there was a meeting then Tonks or Molly would fill in. You'd shake, and shutter and they'd wait until you fell back asleep to leave your side.

Remus was nervous at first he was scared to comfort you scared he'd hurt you, Sirius was understanding but is growing more irritated that he has to stay in his old family's home with no action, it doesn't help that he has to be so far from Harry. But these nightmare do give him something to do, he mentioned one night that it reminded him a bit of Azkaban, you or him waking up in a quick jolt or a yelp, that was until you mastered controlling the energy and emotions around you... you struggled with happy thoughts now, happy memories seemed to elude you, it was getting harder to think about the positive when it all seemed bleak ahead.

You were having a particularly hard night when both Remus and Sirius came to your aid, Sirius no doubt bored of the uneventful night. You ran up and hugged Remus instantly crying into his chest. You were still not the type to hug but he reminded you a lot of your dad and you were scared, alone and needed the comfort.

"Shhh... is everything alright," He said petting your hair as you held onto him tighter.

"Its not! It's not alright, it'll never be alright." You cried letting him go slowly. He looked down at you and you looked up at him, the height difference was there but it could be worse.

"What happened?" He asked leading you to your bed. He sat beside you and Sirius stood beside you.

"I just saw my father, he was buried somewhere in the Graveyard in Godric's Hollow, on his request... there wasn't a funeral and I wasn't allowed to organize anything you see." You told them watching Remus's face going blank. "All I know is that's where he is and his headstone is something I may not see." You whined.

"I'm sorry Y/n, I know you miss him." Remus said picking back up his mood.

"He believed in me, and my sister... the no-good traitor! Honestly! I mean - to think the ministry calls me the traitor, it's not my fault I was born." You hugged hugging your knees to your chest.

"I understand." Sirius comforted.

"You have no idea! I mean my sister a death eater?! How?" You sighed jumping up from your bed. Before you exasperated sat back down on the bed looking at the wooden floors.

Sirius and Remus shared a look and Sirius crouched Infront of you. Making you look at him.

"I know, my brother Regulus, became a death eater." Sirius told you bitterly, you looked up and saw a hardened but pained look on his face you put your hand on his shoulder.

"Sirius I'm sorry." You muttered; you didn't know. You felt guilty for telling him otherwise.

"Don't be." Sirius said taking your hand and putting it in your lap. "He chose that path, I wasn't as close with him as you are - were with your sister, he chose that path and he died on that path." You looked down at Sirius's words.

"Sirius..." You squeezed his hand not fully imagining.Sirius seemed to sense this.

"You keep saying you'd kill your sister, but if she was put in front of you, could you do it?" Sirius questioned you, kindly.

"I-I don't know." You revealed. "My sister is evil, she killed my father, without a moments hesitation, ripped me open, attempted to hex and hurt Harry, she stood by as Cedric was killed and she tortured me." You paused and looked at the two men, your fists clenched hard and your browns kitted together. You took a deep breath. "But she's the sister who watched me, who taught me my first spells and potions, how to fly, she's my older sister, who caught me when I fell, who supported me my whole life, who I fought with and played with, the person who I loved most in my family... and she threw it all away for Voldemort and his idea's." You cried.

"Would you raise your wand to her at all?" Remus asked.

"If it was just me... I don't know if I could, but if she dared to threaten the ones I hold dear, if she targets my friends on that list of hers, then I will do what I must to protect my friends... my real family." You told the two. Remus was grinding like an idiot and Sirius gave you a kind smile.

"We'll find her, and we'll help you bring her to the ministries court." They promised.

"I only hope they're useful in this case." You sighed.

"I think you need to rest now." Remus said making you smile. He was kinder than he thought he was capable. You want him to understand he deserves the same kindness and respect he gives out back.

"Thank you, Remus, Sirius." You thanked the two, you did feel a tad bit guilty but also thankful that they helped you with these nightmares.

They left you to fall asleep.

You were happy to help out with what they were doing. You felt a bit more at home, you hoped that Cedric was happy where he was along with your father. You didn't know what would come but you were both scared and intrigued. One thing you knew for certain, you'd have to face Voldemort or your sister soon.
