Wheeljack loves Valerie because she isn't afaid to get dirty. Her teeth is deformed because she was involve in a fight with the Decepticons. Megatron made some of her teeth came out and technecally didn't grew back. When Wheeljack left, Valerie went into a mini depression until he came back. Only to come back to the head over heels feeling he've been feeling for a long while now.
