Izuku's POV~
Kiri and I spent most of the weekend together after that. I was pretty sure he felt bad about fighting and the whole disappearing thing, and he was trying to make up for it. I appreciated it, I really did, but I would have preferred if he had just told me what he was up to.
We were cuddled up in my dorm, after just switching from his, watching Netflix. My head was on his chest while he ran a hand up and down my arm in a soothing rhythm. "You know we have to do homework at some point, right? As much as I love procrastinating with you, it needs to get done." I said in between episodes of Vampire Diaries. It took me forever to convince him it was worth watching, and now he was more obsessed than me.
He groaned, but stopped the next episode. He rolled over, so he was hovering over me.
"Can I help you?" I asked him in a sassy tone.
He didn't say anything, just placed his forehead on my shoulder.
"Nope, you can't get out of homework by trying to be cute." I said, pushing him up, so we were both sitting up.
He gasp and placed a hand on his heart. "Trying? Are you saying I'm not cute?" He asked me in an offended tone that I knew he was faking.
I nodded with a smile. "That's exactly what I'm say." I said, breaking out in laughter as he pouted. It only took him a few seconds to start laughing with me.
I sobered up before him, and smiled as I watched him continue to laugh. "I love your laugh." I admitted absent minded.
He shot me a breath taking smile. "I love your laugh more." He challenged.
I raised an eyebrow at him. "Oh really? Well I love your smile." I said, managing to keep my blush at bay.
"I love your eyes." He said.
"I love your positive attitude." I fired back.
"I love your determination." He countered, not missing a beat.
"I love your loyalty to everyone you care about." I said, thinking back to when Kacchan had been kidnapped in first year.
"I love your mumbling." He said, which surprised me a little bit. Who would love my mumbling?
"I love your manliness."
"I love fearlessness."
"I love you." I said, without even thinking.
But as soon as it registered in my mind, I slapped a hand over my mouth as both Kiri and I's went wide. I wasn't sure how to even save myself from that. How could i take that back? Did I even want to take it back?
"I love you too." He whispered.
I lowered my hand, a hint of a smile present on my face. "Really?" I asked him, thinking I had to be dreaming.
"Really." He confirmed, a full blown smile taking over his features.
I jumped into his arms, placing a kiss on his cheek. "Holy crap, Eijirou Kirishima loves me." I said, more to myself, but he still laughed at it.
"Imagine how I feel! Izuku Midoriya loves me." He retaliated.
"How could I not?" I asked him, softening my voice.
His smile faltered, only for a second before he recovered. "Homework now, my love?" He asked me, faking a posh accent.
I took note of the sudden topic change, but let it slide. I didn't want to ruin the good mood we both had and the happiness we were both feeling. I nodded and slid of my bed. "Did you even bring yours?" I asked him, knowing that he probably didn't.
"Nope." He said, popping the 'p'.
"Figures." I said, amused. "Want to just work at your dorm then?"
"Sure, grab your bag and we can head there." He holding a hand out to me. I scooped up my bag and grabbed his hand.
He lead me to the elevator and we made our way to his room. We spent the next two hours kind of working on homework, but mainly screwing around and there may have been a pillow fight half way through. We kept getting very off track.
The next morning, we had to go back to school. I waited for him in the common area and we walked to class together. We arrived a few minutes before the bell rang, giving us sometime to just hang out with the rest of our class, who arrived early as well.
"Ugh, why do you two have to be so cute?" Mina squealed as Kiri pulled me towards him and placed a kiss on the top of my head. I turned a deep shade of red from his actions and Mina's comment.
"Well I mean, have you seen Zuku? Anything involving him is bound to be adorable." Kiri said, just to tease me.
What a jerk.
"Okay, the bell just rang, everyone in your seats." Mr. Aizawa said, his tired voice ringing throughout the classroom.
Everyone scurried to get to their desks. Classes went by as they always did. Eventually we headed to lunch. I sat with Kiri and his friends, but Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, and Shinso joined us. It was pretty crowded around the one table we had. Shinso pointed out that next time we should probably just push two tables together. I was a little surprised he spoke up, usually he was to busy admiring Kaminari to participate in a group discussion.
When the next bell rang, indicating that lunch was over, we headed back to our class. We were supposed to be training that hour, but when we got back, Aizawa told us all that training for the day had been canceled and to take our seats and wait for further instructions.
There were murmurs of confusion. No one had a clue as to why training had been canceled. Had there been another villain attack? Or was a teacher just simply sick and we had no one to observe us?
Our questions were answered only minutes later.
A handful of pro's, a few of which didn't even work for the school, walked in. They went straight to Aizawa and they started whispering. They threw glances at Kirishima, confusing just about everyone in the room.
Then they started to make their way towards him.
He stood up so suddenly that his chair fell back.
"Eijirou Kirishima, you're under arrest for suspicions of being the UA traitor."
