7-The Age of Steel

Cade sat cross legged in his Orbiter as he viewed the files in his data core that Hydra had downloaded from them. Nothing out of the ordinary till he paused. Delving deeper in the files, he found proof of a dimensional fissure on Earth, leading to his salvage vault on Uranus back in his universe. Blinking in horror as he saw Hydra had accessed files on the Jackal, Zhanuka, the Hyena Pack, and MOAs. He sighed as he saw the only one that had been marked for extraction: the remains of Profit-Taker. Putting it aside, he reasoned that they had been stopped, so he'd keep an ear out. Exiting his Orbiter, he entered Avengers Tower, where a party was in the works. Sitting off to the side, the Lotus was speaking to a United States ambassador. As Cade walked up, the Lotus gestured to Cade.

"Ambassador, this is Cade, my right hand and the Champion of the Tenno," the Lotus said.

"Yes, Ma'am. I know Cade. He rescued my daughter from a American embassy that had been taken over by Hydra. Plus, he went to my grandson's birthday party and used his powers for more entertaining uses. He seems to be quite resourceful and skillful," the Ambassador said with respect.

"I do try, sir. The Tenno are here to stay till we can get home. What happened in Sokovia..." Cade started as the Ambassador shook his head as he sipped his drink.

"What happened in Sokovia was a success. You retrieved valuble Tenno information from Hydra and confirmed their ownership and experimentation with Chitari technology. I did hear you had found a enhanced being there...a girl?" The Ambassador asked.

"Yes. She was telepathic, but I backlashed with my own telepathy. It appears she's fairly competent, but inexperienced. But what concerned me was the fact that I found some files had been downloaded from the co..." Cade started but was interrupted as Tony began clearing out the guests. Within minutes the Avengers, Cade, and the Lotus remained.

Tony looked Mjolnir over for a minute before he turned to where Thor was sitting. "So, if I can pick this thing up, I can be king of Asgard?" Tony asked as Thor chuckled in approval. Tony grabbed th hammer and pulled on it, but it didn't budge. After several failed attempts, he gave up and a few others tried save Steve, who actually moved it slightly, and Natasha who didn't try because she didn't want too. Cade walked up and gripped the handle.

"Honestly, I'm good with what I got," Cade said as Umbra walked in and tossed the Skiajati to Cade. Cade spun the blade swiftly in arcing swings, finally slicing through the top of the chopsticks Clint was holding, followed by another toss that sheathed the blade in the scabbard at Umbra's side. "Mjolnir's good, but not that precise and clean. Plus, I know my weapon and my Warframe. And I don't have to prove I'm worthy. I've done it already when I was chosen as the first Tenno. I have nothing to prove," Cade said.

Tony, still trying to justify his inability to pick up Mjolner, reasoned a scientific reason. Thor held out his hand and Mjolnir flew to it. "Or maybe, you're just not worthy," Thor said.

"How could you be worthy?" Everyone turned to see a shattered Iron Legion drone limping in, leaking hydraulic fluid and oil. "You're all tangled in strings. Puppets to the government. The only puppet that is good was the other guy. I had...to...kill him. I think it's time to bring the end," Ultron said as Iron Legion drones flew through the walls and everyone drew weapons or makeshift weapons. Cade leaped back and dissapeared as Umbra drew his Exalted Umbral Blade and leaped at a drone, slicing it in two as he shoulder bashed another one into the wall, plunging the blade into its chest as Steve threw his shield at one. As they finished them off, Cade picked up the dented and busted skeleton of Ultron.

"Tony, I'm taking this for analysis. See if I can find anything," Cade said as he left for his Orbiter. In his mind, he heard the Lotus.

"Tenno, according to Stark, Ultron was created by analyzing the Chitari Scepter that was owned by Loki. Ultron had been created and according to what I've been told, he is in the Internet and is at large. I have also been alerted by Ordis by what Hydra downloaded. If they had found a way to pass through the fissure, would any of it be usuable in its pristine form? If they have any of these cybernetic enemies, especially the Profit-Taker, then we have plenty of problems of our own. Help the Avengers find and eliminate Ultron," the Lotus said before cutting the transmission. For the next eight hours, Cade hunted for evidence of the wrecks and Ultron. Finally, he went inside and found the Avengers standing by a filebox. Steve held up a file.

"Cade, we found where Ultron's going. If he's trying to build a better body, he's going after Vibranium. It's the same metal my shield's made out of and it's nearly indestructible. To get Vibranium, you have to go to the source. A secluded African nation called Wakanda. We're leave asap," Steve said as everyone passed the file around. Umbra walked in, clicking the battery into Imperator ArchGun. Cade disappeared and Umbra headed for the his Orbiter and set a course for Wakanda.
