"You finally decide yet?" Kenneth asked Charlize

"Yes," Charlize said

"I would hope so, it's literally the day of," Bailey said

"So yeah I'll go with Josh to the dance," Charlize said

"Was that such a hard choice?" Sean said confused on why she was being stubborn

"... who are you taking Sean?" Bailey asked changing the focus

"This girl named Tate asked me she's cool," Sean said as Kenneth smirked, "Shut up!"

"Where's Josh?" Kenneth said "He just disappeared after the core classes"

"Probably studying in his spot," Charlize said as the others nodded knowing where that was

"Why do you four all have your own personal secret spot?" Kenneth said

"Freshman year was crazy" Sean simply said as the other two nodded "Yeah so Char you might need to tell him now"

"Fine" Charlize said walking off

"Why was this so hard for her? It's her friend" Sean asked

"Who knows?" Bailey lies "Let's head to class boys!"

Studio K

"There you are," Charlize said "You really love this studio"

"Hey even I love my privacy plus it has a nice vibe," Josh said

Studio K was the old recording studio that has been closed for some years, Studios A-J has gotten updates and maintenance whereas K hasn't so no one uses it

It was still functioning it was just the equipment wasn't as modern as the other studios but still modern compared to like the 1990's equipment, the room had noise-canceling and soft lights so it wasn't too bright or dark, and a nice sofa in the back which is where Josh was

"So, what's up why come find me? Something important?" Josh asked

"Well I was wondering if you would want to take me to the dance today," Charlize said "As friends" she added

"Oh, um I would love to but I already asked Reina," Josh said as Charlize looked shocked "But it's fine you get to go with Sean, you know, your crush"

"... Fuck you Price!" Charlize said getting and walking off

"Wait what?! Charlizey wait!" Josh said following her

"Don't call me that!" Charlize said

"You've never had a problem before," Josh said

"Well that's when I thought things were different," Charlize said

"What are you talking about?" Josh said, "You want me to cancel with Reina?"

"Yes!" Charlize said

"Fine!" Josh said

"...Wait really?" Charlize said, "But isn't it the girl you had a crush on since-"

"Yeah but I would rather go with you than with a girl who's rejected me already," Josh said, "So you want me to pick you up or are we riding with Sean?"

"I'll text you! You have some choreographing to do" Charlize said

"Oh right!" Josh said, "See ya Charlizey!"

"Bye Joshy!" Charlize said turning the corner

"Joshy? That's new" Josh said to himself

Charlize turned the corner and was mildly shocked to see Bailey waiting for her with a smile on her face
