Y/n P.O.V
"Sir... Are you sure you're not asking the wrong person?"
Coach shook his head righteously, confident of what he had just proclaimed.
"Y/N, how about you play on the court tomorrow and see if you like it?". I was stunned, is he going crazy?!???
"UhMm!"
His sharp eyes squinted expectantly at me in return.
"Yes sir?!"
"Good. I expect you to be early practising with the team!"
He left soon after, flustering, I bowed to him.

*Time skip*
"So, Y/N?" I heard that same voice again as I bent down quickly to pick up a ball.
"What did Coach say?"
"Shirabu?"
He hummed absent-minded in response, helping me pick up another ball.
"Would you mind if I played on court with you?"
I could feel his degrading stare burn into the very back of my eye sockets.
"Why'd you ask that?..."
"Cause coach told me to..."
This time, his bulging eyes nearly popped out of his head.
"I mean you can play but why did he ask you to?"
I shrugged, my ignorance eating away at him for not asking the obvious question.
"I dunno...".
A long string of silence unconsciously pulled at the end of our conversation.
"Hey Shirabu, let's go back to our dorms, I need to lock up the gym anyways!"
He nodded, still a little deluded about the new information entering his mind.
"Yeah..."
We soon reached our dorms after having a 3 minute walk and talking about what I would be like on the court.
"Cya tomorrow then!".
Shirabu waved at me.
And I headed to the front entrance of my dorm.
"WAIT- Y/N-"
Surprised, I glanced behind me and was weirded out to see Tendou flailing towards me, not far behind.
"Tendou? What are you doing?"
Breaking into a sprint, he held his breath and exploded-
"WHAT DID COACH SAY??!?? DID HE TELL YOU TO LEAVE??". Vigorously shaking me, my head almost detaching from my body!
"No!", I exclaimed, forcefully removing his hands off of me.
Widening his curious eyes, he gave me a confused look.
"Eh? Then why'd he-",
"You'll find out tomorrow!", I teased playfully, walking closer to my dorm.
"Now go away, I needa shower!"
He slouched grouchily and then crossed his arms annoyed.
"Wooooww Y/N!!"
I stuck my tongue out at him, giggling, before heading inside.
