God smiled today
but the world called her pearly white teeth
stars
The world became the apple of her eye and the world called it the moon.
As if this ain't a sight to behold
God gave the world a hug
Globally
And the world complained
So She wept for 10 days and 10 nights
And we called it a punishment
But god smiled today
With the seeds in her mouth
Bearing all of my hopes and dreams
In her black as tar gums
Once again showing off her teeth
In the sky
