james said groaning.

they enter the house where the birds were kept.

there was nothing.

"what? but... the birds they were here!?"

fernando said confused.

"yeah, sure they were kid."

james said annoyed.

"i swear the birds were right here!"

fernando said.

"well how do you know?"

julie asked.

"because i'm- im the one who took them."

fernando said ashamed.

"you?!"

julie yelled.

"i-i didn't mean to hurt anybody! i just needed the money!"

fernando said.

"but fernando i trusted you!"

julie said broken.

"i know but-

he got cut off.

tipa and armando walked into the room.

they were dressed in poorly made chicken outfits.

julie and james hid behind the boxes.

"oh man, that's good."

tipa said.

"hey guys."

fernando said.

"what are you doing here?"

armando asked.

"i just wanted to see if... you had any work for me."

fernando said.

"well, if you were here two hours ago you could of helped us load the-

armando hit him in the head.

"ow! what?"

tipa said rubbing his head.

"shut up!"

armando said quietly.

"so why are you guys dressed for carnival?"

fernando asked.

"so no knoe will notice us when we smuggle these crea-

armando hit him in the head again.

armando said mad.

"we made a float."

tipa whispered to fernando.

"oh, oh! a-a float. so you guys are going to the parade. can i come? i'm a great dancer!"

fernando said.

"can he come? come on, please? three's better than one!"

tipa said.

"oh, fine. we got to hurry, though."

armando said.

they started to walk out the door.

"oh! i almost forgot!"
